This was a great hotel for our team. Everyone we encountered was very helpful, polite and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were clean, breakfast area was tidy, and the lobby was a great space to hang out and host a team pizza party.

The rooms are designed strangely. TV is situated between bedroom and couch area. I had a bad experience with a front desk person, who hassled me on Labor Day, a holiday. My company credit card had a fraud alert hold on it and he couldn't wait till the next day to have it cleared up. He poked his head in my room when I was showering, yelling that he needs another card immediately. Otherwise my stay was pleasant enough. Oh the breakfast was the same everyday. I thought they could have mixed it up a little for the long term residents.

I arrived after dark and checked in, to only stay one night. I specifically asked the gentleman working to please not put me in a room next to the elevator. When I got to my room, it was literally right next to the elevator lol. Now I know why he said to come back down if I wasn't happy with the room, still not sure why he didn't pick another room to begin with. When I went back down, now close to 9pm, there were several bus loads of people arriving to check in. Not only did I have to go back down for another room assignment, I now had to wait for this large group of guests to be checked in! I waited 20 minutes then finally had to leave to find another hotel. All of this could have been avoided had he not put me in the first room! In addition to that, the hotel was dirty, dark and hot! Very run down, needs some work. Random people were walking in and out to use the restroom and obviously weren't guests, I watched them leave and walk down the street. No control over who enters the property. The Operations Manager refused to apologize for anything, said the employee apologized and tried to offer me a different room when I went back downstairs. All 100% false, he did nothing until after the fact. This entire area is sketchy, I would highly advise staying somewhere else.

I booked the room through Expedia, but was informed at check-in that they did not have any King suites available. (Their own website still showed them available.) Even though the double-queen room was the same price as the king suite, the operations manager said they would not honor the Expedia deal for the double-queen room. (She said Expedia would pay them $116 whereas I was paying $129.) So, for $13, I had to call Expedia and wait for them to call her so my non-refundable reservation could be refunded. It seemed like an absolute bait-and-switch by the hotel. I would have left if it was just me but it was getting late and I was traveling with others. (The person in line behind me left.) The property itself was clean, but the electrical outlet is stuck deep behind the mattress, the door was hard to open, breakfast was mediocre at best (no eggs or potatoes in those warming dishes) - and generates a LOT of unnecessary trash. (Need a spoon for your oatmeal? You'll have to open a package with a spoon, knife, fork, napkin, salt & pepper just to use that spoon.) My previous experiences with Springhill Suites have been MUCH better. I hope this isn't indicative of where the chain is now.

Our stay was from 10/6 thru10/15 . The front desk associates were consistently professional, friendly , and work great as a team even during the busiest of times . We travel from Massachusetts to Texas 2 times a year and for the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience here .

Front desk was great and Halle did a terrific job. The shortcoming here is with the property. There is only one, fairly small TV. That by itself, is not a big deal. However, note from the picture that the small table it is on blocks free acres between the sitting are and the bedroom. Viewing angle from bed is useless. Perhaps a wall mount would be a better idea? Beds were awful- super cheap feeling mattress. Lots of other choices nearby. Will try another hotel next time

The rooms were clean, service was great. If the provided soap is little bigger than a quarter size it would have been better.
