La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas - Addison Galleria

Why was it excellent? The friendly staff and exceptional cleanliness! Honestly the hotel was a tad on the run-down side - the building a little beat up and needing repair, lobby furniture worn, hallways dark, carpet dingy - but the decor was nice and the entire hotel was amazingly clean. The bed was very comfy. The bottom of my tub was cracked and torn up, but I just put a hand towel over it when I showered (to protect my feet) and it was no big deal. Shout out to the young woman working the breakfast bar - she was always working and moving, checking the food and keeping everything refilled and wiping down the counters and tables often. I was very impressed. Also the counter staff was very helpful and friendly and they seemed to work well together, helping each other out. I wish I could remember their names so they can receive a personal commendation from Wyndham.

Pretty disappointed in our stay overall.
When we first walked in, it smelled good and at first glanced looked super nice. When we took a closer look, the dining room furniture is very worn out, walking down the halls I could tell the doors and carpet hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. When we got into our room I could see it was the same in there.
The doors were grey and dingy with splattered spots on the doors, trim, and floor. The carpet was matted down and didn’t look like it was vacuumed in weeks. It seemed like the only thing they did was change the sheets and towels before our arrival.
It was also strange how dirty the room was considering we got a notification early in the morning saying the room was “ready” but we didn’t arrive until later in the evening. Ample amount of time to check the room to make sure it was actually cleaned.
Breakfast was sub-par as well. The eggs were pretty salty, and sat in liquid. The sausage was grey and also sat in liquid.
Overall I would not recommend staying here…

Both people from the front desk were awesome! Didn't try it, but they did have a decent looking breakfast spread. Rooms were average. Double bed smaller than most. Hallway carpets need a deep cleaning. One of the elevators was out. I dislike having to exchange towels instead of getting one extra.

Stay away if you prefer clean rooms. Our room was not cleaned, obviously not vacuumed and has pet hair all over the bed. Carpets have not been cleaned in awhile with many stains. Furniture had burn marks and trim/walls in room had heavy layer of dust. I would be willing to bet someone had smoked in the room even though it was a nonsmoking room. Wyndham has a larger corporation is a crook, sham, and swindlers. They do shady timeshares. Stay away from this place if possible. We checked in but did not stay at this place and moved to a new hotel.

Everyone and everything was great until my last day. They put a couple of druggies in the room next to me. They were up all night going in and out of there room. Kept me up all night. I told the receptionist in the morning. His solution was that I could move because apparently they paid for a lot of nights. So if you stay here I suggest you have a lot of money or you won't be able to sleep when they let druggies into there hotel. An the druggies have more rights than you do. When all I wanted was sleep at 2am 3am 4am.

I have nothing by excellent things to say about this place. when i arrived they were being out under new management, so i couldn’t check in early but that was no problem at all. Come 3pm, i was able to check in super fast with no problems what to ever. Stayed for 4days while on vacation and i will DEFINITELY return. Like
i said they were under new management the day i arrived and they instantly got to work repairing everything and making this hotel look beautiful. EVERYONE was so polite and sweet, i couldn’t have asked for a better stay. breakfast was also great in the morning & the pool hours good as well. The snack area downstairs is priced so well. 10/10 will recommend!! KEEP IT UP MANAGEMENT!!!

The gentleman at the front desk was very cordial and polite. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was working very hard to have everything replenished in a timely manner. The hotel is all around well kept and beautiful. Extremely clean, a very relaxing and calming experience for me. You guys are doing an awesome job! Thank you for all you do!

My stay was pretty good until the last day. Hotel staff was really nice and the rooms were pretty clean, not much to complain about as it is a more affordable option.

Unfortunately, this was tainted by the unorganized and unprofessional behavior of the staff. When I arrived, I had booked an extra day at the front desk, which I was told everything was good to go. To my surprise, I received a loud knock at my room from one of the staff the day before I was supposed to check out asking if "I was going to leave or not." To which I had to explain that my reservation didn't end until the next day. They then tried to blame me for "booking online" to which I also had to explain that I had booked the extra day in-person with one of their employees.

I then had to race downstairs to get it sorted out, explain myself again, and hope that I didn't have to find another place to stay that night.

I get that mistakes happen, but this was downright unprofessional. A phone call would have been nice before being blindsided in my pajamas by the front desk to be treated like a criminal.
