Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Addison Galleria

The Hawthorn Suites in Addison was fantastic. The room was super clean, all the appliances were clean and working. The room was equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, and the like. The staff was courteous, respectful of myself and my guest, and helpful on every occasion. Housekeeping cleaned my room one the days of my yep while I was out, and I could tell the room had been cleaned but they were extremely respectful of my personal items.

Another huge bonus of this location, was it's amazing proximity to nightlife, restaurants and other conveniences. I highly recommend this hotel. It's worth the money, in my book.

Very unprofessional and ghetto staff here. Called today and asked to speak with a manager to determine what their WiFi speed was because I’ll be doing business on my laptop. The black girl that answered the phone hung up and stopped answering the phone after I tried calling back several times. I called back about 20 minutes later and she picked up the phone and I asked her why she hung up on me and asked to speak with a manager. The manager, a black male named Nate, wouldn’t come to the phone but just kept asking what I wanted. When I said it was a complaint, he and the girl both started laughing. Then he finally came to the phone I told him that I was reporting him and her to corporate. He responded “I don’t really care”. Then the girl started calling my phone back harassing me and telling me to “pull up” because she wanted to fight. Very unprofessional and ghetto. They both need to be fired immediately. I dodged a bullet. I don’t recommend this hotel at ALL.

Horrible place!! Surrounded by amazing restaurant around which I assumed the hotel would match. NEGATIVE! When we got our room the smell of it was HORRIBLE!! The restroom had black mold, everything was falling apart. The kitchen had a water stain right above which looked like mold. The carpet was disgusting with very suspicious stains. The staff was very nice and gave us another room which was better but not buy much. We had to keep getting new card keys because the door card reader was not detecting AT ALL.. seems like their remodeling the hotel but they have all of the parts laying in the hallways by looks of it, their just painting over everything.

Overall my experience was very good. Hotel is older, but huge rooms and the kitchenette is perfect. I was a little concerned as my room phone didn't work and my smoke detector seemed to be missing.

It was just ok on Oct 17 in room 317 , until a day went by and noticed a sheet on the bed that was not CLEAN if it had what looked to be bodily fluids that had dried in the sheet . Upon this discovery it was covered up by the thrower they put across the bed. Then the stay became very shocking , started seeing roaches appear in the bathroom and kitchen, there was a hole under the sink in the corner that eye had to stuff some tissue in . They put me in a room that already had dage and they wanted to express that they would look to see if it there wasn't in order to get my deposit back. With that being said pictures were taken so that NOTHING that eye or guests has ANYTHING to do with. Eye can't see how this place is getting the praise it's getting , because my stay eye kept it comfortable and clean as eye possibly can by fumigating myself with roach spray, and other cleaning supplies eye had brung myself because EVERYTHING is not what it seems. And as eye called to report thisatter , eye was told that eye could leave and come back that Sunday after pest control come , So , that means eye would've had to repay which eye was told eye wouldn't be, Knowing that's a lie.. Change of price all of sudden was came about without even explaining they're weekend rates and was charging me with a $13 balance for a room that they say was originally 96 , but eye paid $85 , totally it out for the weekend was $109 . Eye don't want to go any further with this ,all eye have too say is remove the carpet and tell housekeeping to do better and lying is not Good.

I never appreciate hotels that put $100 hold for incidentals as this one does. Then they tie your money up for 7 days before they return it to you.

Very dirty. Horrible maintenance -Paul. Choice hotels will not address any staff issues until you checkout and resolution is usually in points not monetary refunds. Do not stay here.

I've been in quite a few hotels and I gotta say, this is definitely in the top 5 that I have stayed in. The room is spacious enough. I love the fact that I have a full refrigerator and dishwasher. Now let's talk about that photo, the thong doesn't belong to me or by any of the women that has stopped by. They were put there by the tenets before me. Apparently, the clean up crew didn't look up while they were cleaning.
