Initially, I was very nervous flying up to Brisbane from Sydney to buy the car after reading some of bad reviews online about this place...
But I'm happy to report I was pleasantly surprised and the car has been fantastic!
Already clocked up more than 10,000 kilometres since purchasing and it hasn't skipped a beat. Also I've had the car thoroughly checked by two mechanics - and they both reckon it's very tidy and we got a good deal.
Thanks to the team, very happy with the service provided and feel the need to write this review to let people know that it IS possible to get a good deal from these guys. Obviously, not everyone is happy and buying used cars can be risky... but I am definitely a happy customer.
Also worth mentioning the M1 team were very friendly, patient, helpful and offered the car at a really good price. Thanks again!
The ignition barrel is faulty, and also the fuel gauge never sticks just under half way causing you to guess how much fuel you use. Two of the seats in the back are stuck and do not slide forward or backwards.
Seems to be never ending problems with it.
Save yourself time and garage bills and buy your next vehicle somewhere else.
Wouldn't even say their customer service when buying was very helpful.
Not happy in the slightest!!!!!
1 Star- or should we say 5 Stars for being the sterotype "used car dealer".
I recently travelled to look at a vehicle in Brisbane, but before taking time off work and heading off on the 4 hour+ round trip I decided to call ahead to make sure the vehicle was still for sale, which I was told it was...
I arrived and inspected the vehicle, which was in reasonable condition, and they did a great job of the presentation. The owner wasn't there at the time so I called to work out a price for the vehicle. When we didn't reach a deal, he mentioned that someone else is looking at the vehicle but waiting on finance. Sounded like typical salesman talk.
So after sleeping on it, I phoned up the next morning and offered the price he asked for the previous day, which he verbally accepted and said he would get the paperwork ready and text me the payment details.
When I NEVER received a text, I messaged him to which I got a reponse saying that he had to wait till the afternoon (for the other buyer's finance situation). I waited, and waited, and when I messaged AGAIN I received a text back to say that 20mins after my phone call in the morning he was told by the finance company (of the other buyer) that he had to hold the car for the other buyer???
So either the car was sold to other buyer and they were hoping I would offer more, or he was happy for us to buy it, unless someone made a better offer (we are only talking a $300 difference too!).
Furthermore someone wasn't being truthful, and it wasn't me or the other buyer. All in all, a real shame and a waste of time and effort.
