The Fish Joint

When I was told we were going to a place called “The Fish Joint,” located in a storefront in a strip mall, let’s just say I was underwhelmed. This is a great example of the expression don’t judge a book by its cover. Although located in west Broward, quite a ways from the ocean, this may very well be the best seafood place in all of South Florida. Exaggeration? No. I’ve eaten in the best of them and this little, out of the way eatery stands up to them all. The lobster rolls are to die for. They’re not filled with cheap fillers like so many places do, it’s simply an abundance of FRESH lobster meat, and if you ask for the warm one, it’s complimented with a savory garlic butter sauce. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Their snow crab legs are seasoned to perfection and are likewise mouth-watering.
The Fish Joint’s prices are more than fair given the high quality and freshness of their ingredients. I HIGHLY recommend this place the next time you’re craving fish, any fish. They’ve made a customer for life out of me and my family. Both indoor and outdoor dining as well as take-out.

The best Fish & Chips I’ve had in a long time. Crispy. Flavorful. Not greasy. Clams were tender, perfectly seasoned, and melt in your mouth. Great value. We’ll be back.

Friendly staff and clean dining area. Salmon burger was good but had a bit too much breadcrumb filler would have liked there to be more salmon inside. Would definitely go back and try other things!

We took a chance and went to see what this place had and we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was very clean and for a place that’s serving seafood, thank heavens it did not smell of fish!! The food was done to order and we enjoyed every bite! I couldn’t get my 1 year old to stop eating the fish lol. A must stop location if you’re in Coconut Creek!

I loved it. My parents just took me here for the first time. I had the fried shrimp po boy. They had their standing order of fish tacos. Everything was fresh and hot on delivery to the table. Lightly breaded, fresh tasting, delicately seasoned without being too salty. Their cole slaw was on point. The two women who served us were very friendly and accommodating. I will look forward to my next visit to try the Mahi of snapper.

The food was DELICIOUS! Well prepared seafood. I had the grilled grouper, mixed veggies and Cajun rice. My mom had the fried shrimp, fries and coleslaw. Both were great. The bread pudding with ice cream was very good too.

Nice, clean, simple casual atmosphere. The service was very good too. Nice people. It is easy to support local businesses and eateries when they are this good!

A delicious quick service fish restaurant with sandwiches, salads, platters, dips, and more. Very clean restaurant with fresh ingredients. Tried the ahi sandwich and the fish & chips, both were delicious!

The ahi was really flavorful with a lot of different textures and tastes on the sandwich. Crisp on the fish & chips was really good too. Their fries and hush puppies are also a welcomed addition to the meal.

Employees are really friendly and attentive, and the food was ready quickly.

Man what a great surprise this place was. Small hidden restaurant worth checking out. The place was super clean and nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly and extra attentive. Everything I ate from the longer roll, to the tacos, hush puppies, and even the crab boil were fresh and well prepared. Will definitely be going back.
