I was very surprised, this is one of those prime examples of don't judge a book by its cover.

To look at it from the outside you would think the place had closed several years ago. But when you get inside, it's as though you were traveling US1 in the late 50's. It was very clean if not up to date.

There were several options that included a meat and there soup and salad bar for less than six dollars. There were plenty of ala cart options to fit whatever you were craving.

While the salad bar had limited choices the ones they had were fresh and plentiful.

They also had quite a few desert options of home made cakes and pies. Which I didn't leave room for, so I cannot attest to there quality. However most of the other tables were eating them.

While I didn't sample the breakfast items I did notice that there were all day breakfast specials some as low as 3.99.

I guess the only negative I should mention is that the air conditioner wasn't working as well as it should on the day that I was there. It was in mid March, and at 5 o'clock in the afternoon it was almost to hot inside to be comfortable. I would hope that it will be rectified before the real heat gets here.

Wait staff was pleasant and welcoming, they also checked on the table several times throughout the meal

Overall don't miss the opportunity to try a home cooked meal as it should be.

The new place is so much better , the new family running the diner takes so much pride in everything they do . The updated renovations , as well as the out side patio , and full ice cream parlor are all amazing . Add the fresh never frozen meats local Florida cattle ranchers . And there fresh vegetables to top it off are amazing .
No salad bar anymore but that's due to covid and cost . But the fresh salads made to order are a huge hit with the locals .

Still doing scratch made pies and cookies as well as the blue plate dinners $7.99 a different meal each day and don't for get about the .99 breakfast menu open 7 a.m till 9 pm seven days a week

Great place to eat. We are actually moving our location down the road from them and plan on doing lunch regularly here. Jimmy is great. Good local burger joint.

Hurricane Ian was upon us... we were starved.... ii found Jimmy Doodles open for buisiness!!!! Ian haden't even passed yet!!! Food was Awesome. Staff was great. I will definatly venture to Oak Hill more often! Thank you!

Had Hamburgers. They were good. Bacon was very very chewy! Other than that you got what you expect.

Absolutely our favorite place to eat breakfast when we are staying in Oak Hill. They have the best pancakes!

Had one of the best Phillys of my life at this little place.

The food was really good. The waitress was friendly and quick. And the restaurant itself is super cute! I had the steak and cheese, then Graham Central ice cream for dessert. So good!!
