We started with the cheese sticks that were lightly hand-breaded and the best we’ve ever had. The home made marinara sauce was just as wonderful. Next was the pizza with pepperoni and fresh flavorful mushrooms. Dough was hand tossed with an even thickness. Sauce was not spicy and would suit anyone’s taste. I would definitely try this again plus the other items on the menu.

Awesome pizza and Italian food. One of our best Oceanside restaurants in the area. They also have outdoor seating with a view of the ocean which is a big plus for me. I had the Calzone which was chock-full of meat and cheese and was far more then a person can eat for one meal. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of. My wife had a gluten-free pizza which was also excellent.
Our server was Brandon.

Great food. Meatball sub had crispy bread. We got a half size, which I cut in half (shown in picture is 1/4). Pizza was also good, we got sausage and onion. Muscles with garlic wine sauce.

I always rely on reviews when visiting new place. Thank goodness we found Pappagallo's! We came at 7PM on a Friday and had no wait to be seated. Reviews mentioned the cheesy bread and Italian Nighmare sandwich and both were amazing. Our table fought for the last slice of the cheesy bread. Mom tried the night's special - Baked Ziti. She said the salad was very fresh and the sauce was delish. My daughter prefers thin crust and though it wasn't on the menu they tossed her crust longer to thin it out and it worked out great. The portion sizes (and flavor!) ensure that no one will leave hungry! Brandon and the others servers were very friendly and attentive too. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly be back at Pappagallo's.

Popcorn shrimp had more fries than shrimp, the shrimp I did get was more breading than anything. Pasta sat in a pool of butter yet still lacked flavor, my mimosa came out warm so I added ice to it and the pizza was under done. The reason in got 2 stars was because the service was 5 stars!

Inside or outside dining with views of the beach. Unfortunately the view of the beach is partially obstructed with the parking lot. Food portions are huge. Everyone in our party had to take home food. The free bread rolls were huge, buttery and flavorful with marinara sauce. Calzone Meat Lovers was huge and full! I had the bowl of Potato Soup which was tasty with bacon and lots of potatoes. Military Discount on your first Draft Beer.

Loved this place! I highly recommend. Had the Angry Meatball Calzone, it had amazing flavor and was stacked with cheesy, meaty and the tangy flavor of peppers…followed by the heat. The wait staff was super nice and attentive. If you’re in the area, you’ve got to stop by

Best pizza on the east coast! Awesome pasta dishes from scratch! Great family atmosphere. Outdoor patio gives a beautiful view of the ocean. The cooks, servers and bartenders bust their butts for their customers, always greeting with a smile and ready to cater to customers needs! Definitely a must to stop when in town! Pictured is the Pastagallo dish and the pizza with tomato, fresh mozzarella & basil is the margarita pizza!
