The biggest problem with this store is the lack of stock on hand. There is so much space that could be put to good use.
I have had a couple of problems with a couple of products, and the people at this store have bent over backwards to accommodate me.
The reality is not too many tools are made in the usa anymore, and ive priced tools that still are. I think ill stick with Sears till the end, at least for hand tools.
A part broke on the fridge and we called sears for our fridge to be fixed under warranty and the costumer service was not good. It seemed like the reps were really trying to help me but no one knew what was going on, I kept getting sent over to different departments and put on hold for long periods of time.
I finally got someone to send out a tech to fix the fridge and the man ordered a part to be sent to us to be fixed… The part took weeks to arrive, and then when it did arrive it was broken. Finally Sears sent me a whole new fridge, but this was after six months of back and forth with their reps. I bought a small fridge to get us through this time.
When this new fridge arrived it worked for a few months but now it has broken several times and with the warranty I still pay $75 every time I have someone out to fix it.
At this point I have given up on the Kenmore elite and am looking for a different brand… after paying lots of money for a lemon of a fridge and lots wasted time with Sears.
Look elsewhere for appliances.
I would like to resolve this issue with Sears but it is near impossible to find an email to contact about this. Also the customer service line is almost impossible to get a person and I’m unable to resolve this with a robot. And nice the owner responded but there’s no contact info anywhere.
We bought a $2,400 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator and all new appliances for our kitchen last year at this store. The Refrigerator had a defective water inlet valve part and now we learned that part is discontinued and part cannot be found anywhere on internet. Manufacture warranty just ended, refrigerator cannot be repaired and they will not replace our Refrigerator. We were told regardless if we were still covered under warranty that they would NOT replace Refrigerator. Warranty is only for repairs and if part is discontinued your basically OUT OF LUCK! THIS STORE IS STILL SELLING THIS REFRIGERATOR ON THE FLOOR AND ONLINE KNOWING that part is DISCONTINUED!!! So be AWARE that this is straight out FRAUD!!! They should not be selling a product at regular price when parts are no longer available and non existent. Kenmore is part of Sears so you cannot get any answers from Kenmore directly… You will be redirected to Sears customer service which is a nightmare to deal with. They gave us the run around for 2 months!…they sent us wrong parts and then assured us we would have the right part just to find out the part has been discontinued and they NEVER notified us. We had to call to see what was going on. A complete waste of time and money!! And to top it off, we get an arrogant response from this store manager Todd Sullivan. This place will be going out of business sooner than later and that’s why you will not get customer service! No one cares cause they know they will most likely be closing down very soon!!!… And that goes for Kenmore as well…. So I stress once more… NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SEARS OR ANY KENMORE APPLIANCES!!!
