We have visited the original location in Kirin Court, the Richardson location (pre pandemic), and this establishment in Addison. Food is always on par when we have been! Jason served us today and was awesome.
I enjoyed the kung fu flick they had on when we arrived. We ordered our food and drink - 2lbs of crawfish NOLA style semi spicy and the Trinity (crawfish, crab, and shrimp head on, but you can order with head off) Who Dat style with semi spicy. A college Bball game started that I wanted to watch so I made the request to Jason and he gladly changed the channel.
Honestly service is usually so-so here, which I kind of expect given the concept and how it started, but Jason was attentive, keeping our beverages full and making recommendations on food, etc. He offered us a sample of their various frozen drinks (Strawberry, Mango, Hurricane, Froze, Watermelon and Blue something) and we ended up ordering the Watermelon to go. Perfect treat on our patio on this beautiful day at home!
I recommend this place with 5 stars regardless of service - it’s worth it. But going forward I will always ask for Jason!

I had the crawfish pasta and a Catfish and shrimp basket with fries. The pasta was SUPER DELICIOUS. We went on Saturday night and the place was packed. The vibe was great and the music selection was very pleasing. I also had a daquiri. It was good as well. The place isn't too pricey either.

I really just want to review on behave of one the workers, Stanley. He is so kind and cool! His customer service is impeccable!! If he sees you waiting, he will rush over as quickly as he can. I really do appreciate service as such because some people will just take their time. He actually acts on urgency and shows that he cares about the service he gives. He makes sure to apologize to everyone about the wait time too, if there is one. We need more people like him in the business world. Now, I will say that my duo combo NOLA Style has no seasoning at all so I’d give a 3 star based off of that but definitely giving the 5 stars just for Stanley! :D And if you’re wondering about the fried shrimp and catfish basket, it is great. It’s probably one of the first places that I’ll actually order catfish from instead of frying it myself.I’ve had trouble finding the right battered catfish until I came here. Chicken strips and meat pie is delicious as well. Anywho, keep it up Stanley! I’ll be back!!

Came here for the $1 oysters and it was good. Also ordered some from their happy hour menu like the charbroiled oysters and also the jambalaya egg rolls and the gator dog. I highly recommend the jambalaya egg roll.

We had an opportunity to try this place out for the 1st time. The decor is really nice & had a nice vibe. The service is attentive & the food comes out hot. We enjoyed everything, including the drinks. The only thing that I'd say that we were disappointed in is the "benja". They're cheap sticks, but they're really funnel cake sticks, but they try to pass it off as "benja". Still a good place to eat & have a good time.

Mild is still a hint of spicy! Love this Louisiana boils crabs and shrimp meal. The only thing I would ask for is crab cracker… a must with the meal. I’ve been to several of these types of restaurants and have always had crab crackers! Would ask for several plates as well. But overall loved the crab fries a little spicy as well, just know everything has a little heat even with the world “mild” I didn’t love our shrimp basket, batter was not as crispy but slightly soggy.

I always love coming to Tasty Tails! Food is always fresh and delicious. Their fried foods are always juicy and crispy but not greasy. Their boiled seafood is always fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned!

Go for their lunch specials, and you won’t be disappointed!

Service is always on point (even when they’re short staffed bc of the pandemic). Don’t forget to be kind to your servers!

Hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had in my 34 years of life! We visited while in Dallas traveling and was not disappointed ! The Étouffée was amazing! The fried catfish was seasoned to perfection and fried to the Gods! The jambalaya egg rolls were ok but paired with the cajun aioli 🔥 ! The Cajun pasta was heavy on the liquid side so it was more like a soup and pretty bland. Gumbo needed some type of kick. It was bland as well but still good. Margarita was straight sour mix. Service was great even though we had a random server change without anyone letting us know. I guess the girls left for the day 🤷🏾‍♀️. Other than that, if I lived in Dallas or return I will definitely be back!
