Budget Car Rental

Rented an expensive car with bald tires and almost died on the highway when tire blow up. I called them but they basically told me to get off or pay a few hundreds to fix a tire and didn't even care about my emotional or physical state. Rental car had no spare tire. I wasted a few hours to fix it out my pocket. The worst experience ever. This type of company shouldn't exist on the market. It is impossible to get answer from customer support. One girl answered in an hour, heard the issue and hanged the phone. Terrible service. Hopefully my lawyers get you.

Too pricey, but if in a pinch like we were, needed to go out of town for a funeral then there you go. No discounts at all. Fees for veh license recoup 1.85 a day, energy recovery fee .60 a day then you tax, subtotal and total and make sure fill up tank and clean the car otherwise you will be charged a very high price. On the other side pros are quick, easy and a decent car but they really push for a lot of add on, understand the liability, comp, and coll. The guys were very nice and professional, explained everything.
Gave it 4 stars because of the great customer service representatives and had a decent selection of cars. The prices though could be a better rate and discounts offered for certain situations like semi-emergencies, funerals etc.

I rented a minivan to pickup at 8am and ended up getting a Chevrolet traverse instead until 9am because they didn’t have minivans… Are you kidding me? I rented on 9/19/22 to be picked up on 10/8…. Enough time to get it ready… I took that option because we were out of time and I was already late… I came back home to pack and it was very disappointing that we had no space… the only reason I rented a minivan is because we have someone with a wheelchair and wanted to make him feel comfortable but didn’t happen. They also said that the minivan was going to be there around 11… After packing and noticing that the SUV was to small, We decided to come back at 11 and someone said they didn’t have it available…
I paid for this reservation on the same day that I booked…. Very unprofessional place. There’s excuse was it’s a very busy weekend… Hell no! This is not care for your costumers, not respect… They only want to give you whatever is convenience to you and guaranteed the money….
I tried to give you a second chance because I already when toca similar situation with budget in the past BUT I’m done with you guys…. At the end only $50 as a compensation?
Please do not trust budget….

A thank you to Terrell, the Budget associate at this location. He was very professional and helpful. However, Budget Car Rental overall left me infuriated as a frequent customer. I took advantage of the 'Pay Now' option to save money. I arrived at the selected time on 11/17/2022, only to find out the location was sold out of vehicles. The associate called 4 other locations who was also sold out. Not to mention my reservation was already paid for.

I had to call customer service to cancel and refund my money. Which I was told normally takes 3-10 business days. I explained to customer service that the funds were taken without delay and so should I be refunded without delay.

Why does a company offer a 'pay now' option and not have vehicles available? I plan to escalate this matter to the corporate level. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who's had this issue.

I rented a car in Addison and drove it to Kansas when I arrived in Kansas I noticed the oil leak not a single budget location in Kansas would swap out the car because of out-of-state plates. After contacting Addison the gentleman told me that last time they got the car serviced they didn't tighten the oil filter after spending hours on the phone with customer service for two days missing an entire day of work I had to get underneath the car and play mechanic myself. I had to tighten the oil pan bolt and add oil back to the car because it had none. Then we drive it back to Texas with my fingers crossed. Once I got back home I was only compensated for one day which did not compensate my time lost at work nor the headaches I had to deal with. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and the lack of compensate me for my troubles. If I was unaware of the oil leak or was not mechanically inclined at all I would have been completely stranded in Kansas adding several days to my trip and at that point I don't think they would have done anything else to make it right I will never rent with budget again I'm extremely unhappy with their customer service.

I give Eric a 5+ for going and extra mile for helping me with my rental. He made the process so much better.

Is a tiny operation next to the Addison Airport. It has been my place of choice since 2014 and I had had only good things to say.

My last trip was on October 2022 with a Kia Sorento 2022, with only 20k. Great experience for a long drive to the Ozarks.
