I've used other car rental companies before. However, the professionalism and great customer service is what differentiates Enterprise Rent-A-Car over other companies.
It's always great to see that warm smile when they pick you up. This morning Joseph was THAT MAN. We were expecting a call to let us know that he has arrived. Although he did not have our phone number he was able to locate our apartment and knocked on our door. He was very a friendly and pleasant person.
Donald took care of processing and ensuring our vehicle was clean and in great condition, while Anthony made sure that the next reservation was in order. Mitchell made sure that we got home safely.
Their cars are always clean and well-maintained.
Enterprise has always be our go to rent-a-car company then and will always be our rent-a-car company now or in the future.
Note: The location (Addison, TX) that I rented my car from is open on Sundays (9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon) which is another great plus.
Came to pick up a vehicle, at which point realized my license was unknowingly expired as it was recently my birthday. Was told by an enterprise rep who shall remain nameless that I could just renew online and would be good to go.
I went home and did just that and after making me wait about an hour for them to pick me up, I then got a call stating that an online renewal won’t work and instead I would need to get it renewed by the DPS. Well it’s too late for that. Renewal was already processed online. Had I been told the correct info from the beginning I would’ve gone to the DPS.
When I asked to speak with the GM he made up an excuse about not having access to the same database as the police so they can’t use a temporary ID, which is irrelevant. My drivers license number is the same before and after renewal so whatever database they do have access to can still retrieve the info (if any) should they need it. Truth be told, no database is used. They simply log the DL number in their system, along with the expiration date, and other details, then move on in their own enterprise system.
When I expressed this to him, he said while I may be right and that he doesn’t agree with their policy, it was policy so there wasn’t anything he could do. I understood and then asked to have their regional manager call me so that I could discuss it with him. At which point he told me to go online and find it for myself, because there was nothing that he could do either.
Thankfully Hertz was right up the street and was able to take care of my situation.
Enterprise has lost my business for life and would encourage those of you with a choice to take your business elsewhere.
