Dreams hostel

It was nice to be here. Really city center. Car parking. Sorry, guys, for our check-in at 4am) Room is simple, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom need to be upgraded anyhow - not enough space for clothes, amenities, towels. In general, we would stay here again

Great hostel. Clean and very affordable. A few minutes walking from Riga old town. The breakfast was poor. And it's a very hot hostel.. it's on the top floor of the building, in a renovated big attic. Very hot inside (visited in July).. no isolation.

Pros: Comfy bed; great location near train station,bus station and old town; excellent staff; good bathroom with hair dryer without deposit needed; well equipped kitchen; laundry available.
Cons: dim and stifling; the drain in one shower room didn't work properly; room facility too basic -- no reading light or wardrobes to put luggage.
Conclusion: worth it for the location and price; simple breakfast included; not recommend for longer stay.

This was probably the worst hostel where I've ever been. When we arrived at the property nobody opened downstairs not upstairs. In fact, we only got inside because another guy who was hosted there opened to enter himself. As we could see, this happens very often and it's not easy to find someone at the reception most of the time. Also, it smells a bit weird inside. The room wasn't clean. Even the sheets look unwashed (we found some hair on it). The shower and bathroom in general weren't the cleanest either. But the worst part about the bathroom is that in the morning hot water doesn't work and sometimes we couldn't get water at all. The only good part about this establishment is that the employees (when you can find them) are nice. To sum up, unless they make a big change here, I can't recommend this place to spend the night in Riga.

We stayed in a room with 4 friends and it was the worse hostel experience of my life.
The room (and basically the whole hostel) was not clean at all : we had to ask for people to change our bedsheets as they were disgusting, the floor was sticky, and we had to ask for a new lock as it was broken and they didn’t even fix it before we arrived.
No warm water in the shower, no water pressure, some bugs in the restroom and a strong unpleasant smell.

I would not even recommend a night there to my worse enemy.

Booked a whole room and paid almost a week before arrival with a free parking. When I tried to check in on arrival, they did not know anything about my visit. I was told they can get me a room on another hostel ~500m from this one. There was no place to park my car either. At least these guys are honest and refunded my money, when I asked.

Anyone giving this place more than 3 stars are kidding themselves. You get what you pay for. Beds are fortunately comfortable enough, kitchen and bathroom are pretty nasty! I saw two small cockroaches run away as I was filling up my water bottle 😅 but it's cheap and location is great
