Situated conveniently next to the bus station but unfortunately right in the heart of the loud central market. Old and run down, neglected and smells of cigarettes. Broken doors on our way to our room and noise throughout the night coming from the corridor. Our bed sheets were still dirty and there was a dusty feeling in the atmosphere. The water pressure was good and the temperature too. The employee at the reception was very polite and didn't have a problem with our after hours check in. All in all I wouldn't recommend, the place needs much work and attention immediately.

Convenient location to bus station. Closed to Central Market where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables with cheap price. Walking distance to old town.

The rooms are quite clean and the beds are decent but the lobby and reception area is a bit on the crumbling side. Overall very good price/quality ratio and location is superb. I also recommend the bar at the corner of the building, very moody interior and friendly staff.

Stayed one night, staff were lovely welcoming helpful and friendly. Room fine beds fine, double room with shower and toilet. Clean and tidy. Food in Bistro good quality and cheap. Right in the centre of the the market area close to bus and train stations. Would stay again. Thank you

Not so clean, I had a feeling that bed sheet is dirty. Pretty loud outside due to market place that works till late night. Stuff was ok, close to city center and attractions. Good price.

Bed sheets were dirty, it seems that someone was standing on them with shoes. Bathroom itself and other amenities in a room were OK, but very basic , as it could be expected for a budget hotel. The elevator was broken. Only Russian was spoken at the reception, and it itself looked quite creepy and a bit run down. The location is very close to the bus station and old town, which is great, however the area itself, is rather shady, and seemed a bit dangerous and unwelcoming. I would not recommend this hotel even for budget travelers and would actually prefer a bunk bed in one of the top rated Riga's hostels over this.

The hostel is located on the territory of the central market, close to the main train station. Can be a little bit noisy. Not the cleanest place, also. There is no breakfast.

It was a lovely old building with old features. Rooms had oak beams and bed head had a built radiogram. And gentle night lights. Even though it isoutside the market where the bus station is. It is reasonable quiet at night
