Blue Bird capsule hostel

The hostel is located centrally, easy to reach from the station and from the airport. Rooms are beautiful and very clean, staff is young and friendly. Not ideal though if you don't feel like climbing up many stairs. Totally recommended, and I also suggest to have breakfast at the delicious bakery just out of the hostel :)

Amazing hostel in the center of Riga, couldn't be more central. Wonderful historical building, renovated rooms, clean and bright as well very friendly staff. Will stay again any time in Riga

very nice Hostel! Everything was super clean, check in was very easy, beds are out of wood, therefore it was a bit loud when you climbed up but that wasn’t a big issue for us. Location was amazing too, directly in the center

Great location, very good value for money (we paid approx 50e for a private double room). Comfortable bed, good pillows. Very easy self check in (they sent very god instruction on the day of arrival). The room was quite small, would have appreciated more hangers. We had a room on the 5th floor and it was a lot of stairs. Very thin walls, you can hear everything from the hallway. Also a lot of noise from the center during the weekend nights. But it’s a hostel so you have to expect a higher level of noise I suppose.

The best experience of staying at a hostel. The instructions are self-sufficient, and I did not meet any single human from check-in to check-out for formalities purposes. No more paper works. Fully automated self check-in/check-out process. Superb location, a nice atmosphere. A heavily recommended place.

A suggestion: the wooden beds make lot of sound, maybe it could be improved.

Really nice hostel. I’ve stayed in the capsule bedroom (beds with curtains and wood walls). I loved it ! You have intimacy but still the price and comfort of an hostel. Kitchen functional.

Lovely hostel in the heart of Riga. Pros: Cleanliness is taken care perfectly everyday. Kitchen area is modern enough. Building itself is pretty. I liked the intimacy of the cozy bed capsules the most. The self check in instructions were easy to follow. Cons: Not accessible because there's no elevator to 3rd/4th floor. Prepare: Take earplugs with you, because of the noise from the streets and the square nearby. The free towels are quite small, so prepare to pay extra 2e for larger ones.

Genuinely very impressed by this hostel. The facilities are impeccably clean, and the capsules and comfortable. The building itself is beautiful, and our room had a view of the Christmas market. The security is good, too. I would recommend this hostel wholeheartedly.
