My partner and I got married at Bear and Bison on April 2022 and had a wonderful experience. We selected the 3 day wedding group package and had the entire Inn to our group. From the start, Lonny and Eugenie were a pleasure to work with. They were organized and catered to our needs. On the days we stayed, the service was exceptional. The food in particular were ALL very delicious! The ambiance was cozy, and despite the business of the wedding, we felt relaxed at the end of our stay. Our guests enjoyed it all as well. Highly recommend for an intimate wedding. We will definitely be back sometime!

The Bear and Bison Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding day on 6/11/2022. From the moment we checked in on Friday, Lonny, Eugenie, and the rest of the staff made the entire weekend stress-free and enjoyable for us and all guests. The food and atmosphere were top notch and we received so many positive compliments from our guests. They ensured the wedding day flowed seamlessly and elegantly which allowed us to fully enjoy the day. We will definitely be back for anniversary stays! Thanks again for everything Lonny, Eugenie, and team!

Had our wedding here and it was an amazing experience. Lonny is amazing to work with! The rooms are very nice and clean. The view Is amazing, we had to do basically no planning for our big day we just showed up which was great. The breakfast is very tasty. Charming place and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing experience! My fiancé and I stayed here for one night and everything was wonderful about our stay. The room was very cozy and I loved the jacuzzi. Breakfast was complimentary and they were very accommodating about dietary restrictions. The owner was also very friendly and personable. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful place, attentive staff, incredible breakfast, etc., only thing; we went in July and they don't have air conditioning. Most days don't get too warm in Canmore, however we had 2 81 or 82 degree days, and by 6pm, it was about that temperature in our room. I brought it up to the staff and they said they would check the fan, turn the pilot light off on the fireplace, etc, but it didn't help much. I get it, warm Temps are a rarity, but for how much you're paying, a/c in the off chance you get some warm summer days should be a thing.

We drove down from Calgary to get a little r&r and some peace and quiet. We arrived around 9pm which is after they normally close the front desk at 6pm. Someone from Inn called is in advance and explained the process when you are arriving late and confirmed when we would like our breakfast brought to our room in the morning but had our keys and everything already prepared and left out for us when we arrived. The room was big and we loved that the shower/bath was actually apart of the bedroom…. when is the last time you had a bubble bath and watched a movie haha…. so cool! Bed was super comfy, and we had a peaceful sleep. Now, let’s talk about this breakfast! I love food, and this breakfast was perfect! It had a little bit of everything… the fried egg creation had sweet potatoes, salsa, beans and a tortilla at the bottom. There was also a granola and yogurt side but most of the granola was replaced with all different kind of nuts and topped with a strawberry - delicious! Then, for the end, a fresh fruit bowl along with fresh French press coffee and orange juice. If we had ordered this anywhere else, it would have easily cost around $60.00, so factoring that in, this was place extremely affordable and exactly what we needed for a night off from the kids! We would definitely recommend this place!

Where to even begin on how amazing our stay and wedding was with A Bear and Bison Inn. We were looking for a place to have a small wedding with our closest loved ones. We did some google searching and read some reviews and decided to email Lonny and the team to get the ball rolling. From the get go our experience was fabulous. All our questions were answered and the responses were very quick and friendly.

Once the time came to travel to Canmore and we arrived at the Inn we were greeted and treated with such warm hospitality. Our room was amazing, the view was beyond what we could have imagined and we felt like the bride and groom we deserved to be.

Wedding day arrived and breakfast was superb, the scones were amazing. Our ceremony was more then we could have asked for. All the little details were taken care of and we got to spend quality time together and with our guests.

We will definitely be going back to spend time on special occasions and anniversaries. If you’re looking for a place and people to have or help plan your day, we highly recommend A Bear and Bison Inn.

My husband and I eloped at A Bear and Bison Inn and it was a great experience! We had absolutely no one with us and they provided the witnesses and our officiant and photographer. It was perfect to just show up and have everything all ready, which is exactly what we wanted. The team at the Inn were so wonderful, and the food...omg the food, so so good. We'll definitely be back to celebrate the upcoming years of being husband and wife.
