PARADISE RESORT CLUB IN CANMORE - SHORT AND SWEET REVIEW, DO NOT STAY HERE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN CANMORE! This management group has units is several properties, and are not capable of the basics of hotel management. Furniture falling apart in the units, clogged sinks, and completely missing the "daily" room clean and towel changes. After contacting management, they argue that the room was cleaned even though we have the pictures indicating it was not, along with the dirty pool towels on the floor. Management then advises they will look in to the matter further and end up contacting you once you have returned home advising they have fully investigated and they were not at fault. The reason for this is simple...Upon checking in at the front office, we noticed a line up of people waiting to speak to management with similar issues, and basically not getting what was promised! The management group is well aware of this and does not want more disgruntled "guests" lined up in their front check in area. They are not staffed properly, and the staff they do have are under stress do to constant problems and complaints. Most people don't get out on holidays that often, so when you do get organized and make it out, you certainly don't want a large disappointing customer experience as is offered here. Do yourself and big favor, and stay in a tent if you have to, but do not waste any of your hard earned money here!!!

I can't understand the complaints from a couple of months ago. Maybe they improved since then. Maybe sure you don't follow Google Maps or it gives you not so clear driving instructions. Make sure to drive into Sidney street and drive to take end, the lobby/front desk is on your right side. Check-in was quite fast and without problems. We even could check in quite earlier but of course that might not always be like that, we also didn't check in on a Friday or weekend.
You have to find your ways to the Pool and rooms. Pool you will find on the 1. level (M) walk in the direction of rooms 100-120.
What's really good that you get your own parking stall and don't have to search for free empty parking lots downstairs.
Rooms, downstairs garage and also door to the pool are opened via codes.
Rooms are small apartments which are spacious and offer main and essential stuff for own cooking. Even a washing machine and dryer.
So you have everything you need. Just missing an iron and ironing board.
You have your own balcony or terrace where you can barbeque if you want.
What we wasn't so good was the walls are thin and not soundproof, also some other rooms around maybe upstairs were very loud.
But all in all we very happy about our stay

Staff was very friendly and nice.
Elevator doesnt go to the main floor unless you keep pressing on the button until it works.
Furnitures and interior is outdated for the price.

Spacious and comfortable, everything you need. Easy walk to centre of town and supermarkets. Pool on site. A bit tricky finding reception, but they were very friendly and thorough. We liked it.

This place is quite disappointing. It took us 2 hours to get checked in. We were given the wrong building information and had difficultly accessing the main door. Third time was a charm, better yet in -30 weather. We weren't given instructions on where to park and because there are many properties close together we had to literally go back to reception and have the front desk staff ride with us to show us where to park. The pizza delivery man had the same issue trying to find parking. We also found ourselves locked into the building and not able to leave. Front desk kept saying we would have to wait for maintenance. Eventually it took the fire department to come and open the door. The property and suites are outdated. The blankets for the sofa bed had holes. The kitchen is quite small. Customer service as per standard is a hit and miss, depending on who is at reception. We ended up booking an extra night at the Silver Creek, because our Christmas stay-cation had been ruined. Silver Creek has always been our choice and we will continue stay there in future. If possible, stay away from this place.

TLDR
Pros: Unit 402 is a great unit. Awesome location
Cons: Unit wasn't ready for we arrived. Noisy electric base heater and sound travels through walls.

Stayed for 4 nights the 3rd week of December 2021 in unit 402 on the top floor.

It's a great unit with a fantastic location. It has everything we need for our family of 4 and our 12 year old dog. It was clean and was well stocked. However, there wasn't a single bowl to be found in the kitchen.

Check in time was 4pm but the unit wasn't available until 5:30pm. We had to wait around and ended up going to the pool at the Grande. The front desk clerk comp'd our pet fees for the inconvenience.

The only downsides to the unit 402 are the bedrooms are on the end of this top floor unit and the walls are paper thin. Due to how the unit was designed and the bedrooms are right next to the stairwell, it's was incredibly loud when people were stomping up the stairs in the middle of the nights.

Also, the electric baseboard heaters clicked and rattled sporadically and loudly throughout the night. Bring a white noise machine and some ear plugs.
