Viking Lamplighter Motel

We stay here every time we are in Viking. The staff again were so kind to us this Christmas. We got stranded and when i called he only cared that we were safe and didn't care that the room would go empty. Again and again they are very customer service driven and kind.

Only getting 4 stars because last time we were there the fire extinguisher needed recharging (which they said was booked to be done the next week) and it was a little dirty/dated. We were in an older room. They are dog friendly which is a huge bonus.

We stayed just overnight and it was good.
Check in was easy. Check out was easy. We also came in really late and they were happy to get us a room. The room was standard but was clean and we had everything we needed for the night. Coffee maker, fridge,microwave in the room.

Room was clean and warm. Really didn’t expect too much but was pleasantly surprised. Check in was quick and easy and convenient.

Ver clean fresh room. Comfortable bed and good coffee in the room. Staff are great, really pleasant to deal with.

Thank you for the amazing stay! The hospitality was great! Rooms were very clean and comfortable! 10 out of 10 would recommend ! Coming from a city girl! Cant wait to visit again!

The motel is clean, we had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge in our room. The beds were hard but fine for night. Over priced for what you get.

Very friendly, we came from red deer for my surgery. He was very friendly as if we knew each other for years, walked into our room was extremely clean and cozy it was warm already and inviting unlike some places that dont have heat on when you get in so your frozen for 2 hours before it warms up very happy will recommend to anyone

I stayed here for 2 months while working in the area. It's a great and clean room with AC and heat that worked perfectly. Very happy with my stay.
