The room was disgusting, there was someone's old sock under the second bed, it wasn't vaccumed. When I spoke to the manager about another room he told me if I wanted a clean room I needed to stay in another hotel in town. I had dirty paper coffee cups turned upside down for use, my smoke detector was hanging by a thread and covered by a towel. There was what looked to be blood on the wall and something I could not describe.

The decor is dated, and except for one lonely drunk at the bar, we were the only people in the place. We didn't expect much, just a warm meal. We got one of the best steaks we've had in a very long time! What a pleasant surprise.

Amazing for price. Hardwood floors, big comfy beds with thick blanket with lots of pillows. Shower is amazing. Lounge/Restaurant attached has amazing food.

Lots of rooms which were clean and quiet. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. There is a bar and restaurant off the lobby which has pretty good food, at usual pub prices. Central location in town with a liquor store and grocery store across the road. Was told theft had been an issue but did not experience any issues ourselves. Overall satisfied with the stay.

I make a habit of when I'm traveling, to stay at the not so regular hotel chains.
I've found some real hidden gems that way. Bed was semi comfortable, bathroom was as clean as... the person cleaning it could get it?
The room has an air-conditioned unit that was surrounded by a piece of wood that was covered in mold, i didn't find that out until the am.
It's quiet at night save for the 2 trains that passed in the night.
It's old, past it's prime, has alot of stories to tell, but isn't for anybody. If you are there to work, get up& go for a day or two and don't care about certain things, then this is your place.

We stopped here on our way home after a long week of tiring medical appointments two provinces from home. We were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness. I would post pictures if I could but the floors weren't vacuumed, the toilet wasn't properly cleaned (some poop/ pee stains) and it's was very, very dusty! We were almost scared to sleep in the beds in case they weren't cleaned properly either! The motel also had a lounge in it which was very noisy and you could hear them partying into the night.

Fridge was disquistingly covered in mold. Dust everywhere. Earplugs left behind the tv. Owner is very polite and friendly. Gave me a key instantly to another room where i found garbages still with garbage in the and urine in the toilet. Shoe mat still covered in mud. Left me uneasy and questioning the cleanliness of the bed sheets so i packed my stuff and left. Wish i could post the pics i t9ok but i dont know how

Surprisingly decent. As a city dweller passing by, I was surprised by quality for value. As it turns out, you can get a discount if you're staying on a weekly basis. Lounge is homey, offers bar food, and includes a wall of VLTs.
