Canalta Hotel Rimbey

The rooms were clean and all the extras they afford were there. Pool/ Hot tub was very relaxing. The free breakfast every morning was great eggs, bacon or sausage toast everything you could want. Front desk staff went above and beyond to get us a printed boarding pass. Very happy would stay again.

Needed a hotel for a shower, good bed and breakfast in the morning and I could not have been more pleased. The politeness of the person on the phone and the arrival attendant!! When we got to the room it was clean fresh just what you need a room: a place to put your bags on, sink, fridge, coffee maker and a nice tv just to unwind. The bathroom floor was clean not sticky from to much or not enough cleaner. The beds were great too! Best of all the temperature control worked!!! Thank you Canalta!!

This hotel is beyond amazing - the staff are super friendly and helpful, everything is spotless clean, the pool and slide are fantastic and the hot breakfast is more than you would expect (eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, cereal, hot coffee, multiple juices, pastries, banana bread and fresh fruit).
Being a single mom of 3 young children I was beyond amazed. We will without a doubt be returning.

Always stay here when we are in town and it's great. Very clean and the staff are super nice. Always great customer service and front desk is always great to deal with. They're always really helpful and go the extra mile. Small town hospitality at its finest.

I stayed at Canalta Rimbey when it first opened as a Super8. I lived in St Albert at the time so this hotel got my business quite a bit in those days. I recently returned to do some work in the area and stayed here as a Canalta Hotel. The upgrades are very obvious. I absolutely loved the hotel , great staff and amenities and the breakfast was a knockout. Thanks folks ..You will see me again when I am not working and on vacation in my old stomping grounds.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Canalta in Rimbey. The staff were great, rooms were great. Breakfast was really good as well. Definitely recommend.

We didnt even actually get to stay. I called this hotel to block off 20 rooms for our timbits hockey team. Thursday the front desk took my name number and all info and temporarily blocked the 20 - 2 queen beds rooms that I needed for the manager to call me the next day to get all the info and give me the confirmation number to give to the team to book the rooms - with this blocking of the rooms - we accepted the registration in the Rimbey tournament. Manager did not call me on Friday, so in 2 days they have given someone else our rooms and only have 8 left. That is not going to work! I would have never accepted our tournament in Rimbey without making sure I had rooms for our team to stay. The manager gave me a very flippant "sorry about that but only i can book 10 or more rooms and your team is not booked". This is absolutely unbelievable! I am trying to give you 20 rooms of business! You have let down an entire hockey team! I would strongly suggest booking elsewhere as I doubt you could ever have confidence that you actually had a booking!!!! this hotel only stays open because they are 1 of 2 hotels in town!

We were greeted with a smile, at check out and any time in between. there was a true appreciation for our business and the staff seemed happy to be there.
