Great staff. We had stayed there for the July long weekend. We had six units and parked in a nice open quiet area. The manager offered us 3 lots side by side just off the water. Had we just not set up we might have moved. Showers could be cleaned more frequently.

The campground was very well-kept and clean. The spots were relatively private and the beach area was quite nice. The staff were super kind and welcoming. Overall a great campground.

Water isn't clear but it's warm! Beach is nice, haven't camped there but the camp sites are nicely space apart.

Camp Lake Campground

We booked online and that was seamless.

When we arrived the campground manager, Stacie let us know that she had another option for us in case we did not care for the site we had booked. She was very helpful and friendly throughout our visit.

The office/washrooms/showers is all in one building. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The office has a small store with your basic needs, including of course, chocolate and candy.

There is a nice beach area which is very clean. Sand volleyball. We did not go in the water but are told it does have small lake shrimp. I'm sure it is not a deterrent on hot days.

Outhouses/portapotties are strategically placed and are very clean. The ones we went in have solar lights which help a lot.

There is lots of open space for a game or for the kids to run around. A lovely playground. Another volleyball court, tether ball and basketball.

As in any campground there are different types of sites but I think anyone could find something to suit them. One group area actually has access to their own beach. It is very private over there. (51G) Note: The road to get to that group site is narrow and turning around might be challenging.

Bring an extension cord as the power is not always close enough.

Overall, this is a lovely campground which is well maintained, with friendly, helpful staff.

Very nice campground. Loved the farmers market idea. Showers are nice but the shower curtains are too small and in the way plus it needs another hook in each shower. Lake water is gross, murky and has lots of shrimp in it. Ok for boating but not so much for swimming IMO. Overall this place is ok for camping but no so much if you like swimming in the lake.

Close to Edmonton. Quiet time at 10 pm and it was. Some nicely treed private sites and some very open sites. Showers are fine and clean toilets. Staff friendly. Store decent. Firewood reasonably-priced.

5 years ago this was our favorite spot to take our little ones but every year it's gotten worse. When me and my fiance went alone with no kids for our vacation we were accused of lighting fireworks and skinny dipping, we decided to take our kids back this year with our family dog and even though advertised pet friendly, they absolutely aren't unless you would like to leave your dog to over heat on a leash your entire trip if you don't have a nice cool trailer. She was rude when we were approached about our dog being wet from the group site area "which we assumed was where dogs were allowed" and were told dogs aren't allowed in the water ever. She was rude instead of informative and all in all it ruined our trip, trying to keep our dog cool, and not being able to all go in the water without leaving someone with the dog. We aren't disruptive people and we're just a family looking to camp. We got engaged there and hoped to book the campground for family and friends after our wedding but will no longer do that. Won't be back u fortunately.

Great camping ground with large sites. The lake temperature was good but there are millions of some sort of lake shrimp that like to cling to your body. That sucked
