Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Friendly host family, great breakfast, and a really cute horse named "Silver".

Quiet and well maintained facility catering to distant travellers for late arrival (and early risers). Small common breakfast kitchen with self serving microwave and coffee making. Love it.

The dogs barking at all hours of the night are a real Problem! Hard to get a good night sleep with that racket going on! Very disappointed with my stay and why I usually choose other accommodations when I can.

Never know what you’re going to get in northern rural communities, but Country Gardens Inn is great! I’ve stayed here twice while in the area, and would do it again. Friendly people, dated but nice rooms, clean, and quiet. Couldn’t ask for much more. Pretty sure a lot has been updated since some of these reviews were written and pictures taken.

Very well maintained Bed and Breakfast.
No complaints for the accommodations. As usually is with B&B they have a very limited and inexpensive kitchen ware, from pots, pans, utensils, all very low in their quality and as usual is reflected in the cooking process, they have a cask iron that hasn't been seasoned, if ever. Unusable. It's not a a reflection on their service but a frustration from my part. Cheap stuff will have guests treat them poorly. No shower mats when in shower, thus you have to put towels on the floor and thus less towels for you and so on.

Water damage, leaking window, filled with mosquitoes, kitchen stove looked like it was brought home from the dump and the oven door was broken, no wash cloths provided. Maybe sharing the house with the family is okay but the “guest house” is an old trailer too many little additions scabbed on, with leaking windows and doors.... just hope the mosquitoes are not bad and it is not raining.

I had work in the Fort Vermilion area and my company books my hotel and usually books a very nice hotel that has fridge, microwave and is close to the job site. There are not many options in the area and when I found out I was staying in a bed and breakfast I was a little surprised. And a little hesitant. Oh well, I thought, it's just 3 nights!
Little did I know how pleased I would be! Monique greeted me at the door and escorted me to my room. There is a separate entrance to the rooms that she later showed me but we walked through their gorgeous house and into a very welcoming basement with a pool table and large leather sectional couch in the common area.
There is a well equipped kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, a small fridge, toaster oven and utensils.
In these Covid times, they are unable to provide meals, but the heavenly scents that welcomed me home each night makes me want to return to sample the home cooked meals when all this pandemic is over.
My room was large with a queen bed, comfortable chair and footstool and table where I could eat and work on my laptop. There was also a full sized closet with extra blankets and night table. There was one window but because it is a bi-level it is large and you don't feel like you're in a basement.
The only downside was the shared bathroom, but since it is February and not to busy, I just shared with one other couple. They provided sanitizer in the bathroom and paper towels to ensure everyone safety..
Monique told me today that thy had someone in to see if bathrooms could be added to each room which would really make thing great!
I had a very comfortable stay and would return in a heartbeat! I felt very much at home.
Thanks Monique and Boyd, I look forward to my next visit!

My son and I stayed at Country Gardens last night. What a great place. Clean, spacious and family friendly. I would have no problem whatsoever recommending Country Gardens B&B to friends and family looking for a place to stay near Fort Vermillion. Thank you for a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
