Days Inn by Wyndham High Level

The staff we met were great.
The price reflects the room. The fireplace was a nice touch. The room was clean but kinda sticky carpet. The staff did their best for the bagged breakfast.
The carpets needs to go. The whiff of odor when you go in your room is a let down (I think the smell is coming from the carpet).

Great location for quick stops in High Level. My dogs enjoy the area, and the fact that I can park outside my room makes it so much easier to take my dogs out to pee! Always clean, usually fairly quiet. Seems to be popular with families, so there can sometimes be the sounds that comes with that. Personally kids don't bother me, but I know that can be a factor for some. The rooms are pretty sound proof, but kids can be loud. I do think it's a good sign if families routinely stay at a particular hotel. It tends to speak of the safety and quality of the hotel :)

This is how dirty it was when I checked in.
-Hair on pillow
-dried sauce on side table and on floor.
-they seem to never dust or spot clean.
And we had an Jacuzzi Suite. The fire place didnt work properly. We had to put an $400 deposit because I didnt have enough funds on my credit card. But we checked out early. So I had accidentally got a little bit of blood from a nose bleed and they charged us $200 from the deposit. THAT'S SUCH A RIP OFF. I won't ever return nor will I recommended staying here. Bad management.

Nice comfortable beds and clean. Not a fan of the breakfast as it was a small snack only. Wifi in room was decent and had a little exercise room.

Perhaps the worst hotel from the "classier" ones in High Level. Terrible Wi-Fi connection, quite ignorant some of the reception personnel, poorly maintained facilities, etc. After staying here I got an impression that the owners forgot that the purpose of their business is HOSPITALITY. Seems that the word RESPONSIBILITY is completely disconnected from their business's purpose.

Positive: Easy internet connections. Didn¿t have sportsnet to watch the Toronto BlueJays. Great chairs to sit in. Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff. Had a great visit with Sam. Very interesting and ambitious. Negative: Hate having to book through all these agencies. We are Canadian and booking in Canada and then charged in American funds. These companies might say they are sold out or one room left and that is hurting you as you may have many rooms available. Hate it.

Front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating; professional and courteous. Breakfast was good enough.
Carpet in room (#303) was dirty and also loose and worn out, in need of replacement. Room didn't smell great. Something sticky like Coke was splashed on the bathroom door frame, uncleaned. Bar fridge was noisy and may be on its last legs.

Room was clean and very impressed it has been many years since I stayed in High Level and this room was awesome with very caring and helping staff
