Fun for kids to run around feeding the kangaroos but not a whole day activity. It was great for a couple of hours before going home. Lovely staff and animals were friendly. Definitely buy kangaroo food.

Great morning or afternoon outing depending on what you'd like to do. The park offers wildlife experiences throughout the day for an extra cost but the 1 on 1 time with the animals is truly memorable. We did the Tree Kangaroos as well as the Koalas but others are available too. There are also information sessions that can be attended with the keepers.
Food from the kiosk was pretty good and not too badly priced either and gift shop visit at the end is also well worth it.

What an awesome sanctuary! Really impressed with the upgrades (I was here 15 years ago as uni students). Brought my young kids here today. Really enjoyed a day out here. Happy to see how relaxed the animals are roaming around the sanctuary. Wonderful collection of reptiles! My son was rapt to see the little penguins (his favourite animals). Keep up the good work.

If you have kids, this place will save the day; whether you’re a local or just visiting. We come here regularly. Our toddler loves it. No matter how many times we visit she has a blast. The cherry on top? SHE ALWAYS NAPS AFTERWARDS. Yes, you can interact with the kangaroos, but if your kid is anything like mine, it’s the reptiles that will stop the show. The layout of the park is wonderful too. Picnic areas. Plenty of space for roaming. Even when it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. It also helps to know that the animals are very well cared for and respected, and given plenty of space away from humans when they need it. Conservation is core to the mission here too.

Compare with Melbourne zoo, Ballarat Wildlife park brings me a wonderful experience. Staffs are well trained and friendly, emu and kangaroo just so free to go wherever they want, I can feed and touch them without window glass. Nice choice for couples, family and kids!
Only a pity that I didn’t have luck to see tiger this time. Will be back one day.

Had a fantastic time at the Wildlife Park when my partner and I visited. The staff are super friendly and happy to chat to us and answer any questions we had on the wildlife. The Kangaroos were friendly and come right up to you. We even had a couple of emu come right up to us on their walk around the park which was amazing. We booked our tickets online and showed up not long after opening and got to explore before it started to get busy on a Friday. Highly recommend, we will be back next time we’re in the area again.

Easy place to spend a day, informative presentations by the keepers. Well kept enclosures for all animals, you can see that animal welfare is high in the list here.
Kangaroo feeding is a hit with the kids!
Cafe has good food choices, reasonably priced and good, friendly service.
Overall, the customer service is very good. Well worth the admission price.

The staff were so friendly helpful and joyful obviously love their jobs.
The kangaroos were just so relaxed and peaceful, we sat with them for hours fed them by hand almost felt like we were included in their mob 😄😍
Every animal including the tiger came up close we have so many amazing photos.
