My wife and I wanted to get away to Berkeley Springs for a quiet weekend for our anniversary. We wanted to stay in town as to not have to deal with driving other than going down to Cacapon State park but didn’t want to stay in an Inn or B&B. At the Bathkeepers Cottage we found the perfect place. It met and exceeded our expectations. It is small but very quaint and well decorated as well as very cozy. Betty was very helpful prior our arrival; offering and providing answers to any of my questions. The location is great as it sits just off the edge of the state park and is walkable to everything in town. It was very windy on Saturday and I heard a branch blow down from a nearby tree. I noticed that it had knocked the Comcast cable loose from the house. Everything worked, it’s just that the cable was hanging low across the trail that passes in front of the house. I called the cottage folks to give them a heads up rather than letting them find it for themselves after we left. They were very appreciative of the call and so incredibly nice. There is no question that we received more than our value for the cost of the stay and anytime we are looking for a romantic weekend in the mountains we will stay here. Thank you Betty and Friends.
