Check in was quick and easy. The room was horrible, had a bad smell, comforter was stained, mattress cover was filthy. It was so bad that we spent less than 30 minutes total in the room and decided to get out of there. I DO NOT recommend wasting your money on this place.

This Resort is great! Service is great and very hospitable. Front Desk is very helpful. One item to note- Restaurant is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Pet friendly. Indoor swimming pool, Continental breakfast til 11am.

The golf side of the resort wouldn’t let me use my gift card because they said they recently changed their system and have new gift cards. They also told me the same thing a year or 2 ago so I’m not sure what the deal is but very unhappy that I have a $40 gift card that the lady in the golf shop is saying I can’t use. I think that’s a terrible play in their part and keeping peoples business. If you are looking for nicer golf courses with great customer service then I suggest checking out Oakland Golf Club and Preston Country Club

The rooms are very outdated, some of the electrical outlets do not work, and very thin walls. The property is beautiful but needs so much interior work. Was told the bar was open until 11pm but was closed at 5pm. The game room is just a bunch of tables with books and a few puzzles. The breakfast buffet is fruit cups and frozen jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches. This is not a resort, there was no breakfast “buffet”, and the “game” room was a joke. I felt like I was lied to by their website.

Food was good… well the kids food and one adults, they forgot an entire order. Only took 15 minutes for a couple cocktails… The room had a nice odd odor that slowly went away with time, until you returned (I’m hoping it doesn’t come home in my clothes…)

I think this resort is the PERFECT location for a modern day “The Shining.” It would be very realistic with the claw marks on the walls.

Mixed feelings. The service was friendly but lacked a bit of organization. Rooms were old, ours had an odd smell (it was a pet room), but clean. Food was good, but restaurant staff was disorganized. Pool was nice. Mini golf was basic but enjoyable.

Stayed 12-10-22. The good, pool/ large workout facility. The bad, here we go. Found at dinner time the restaurant was closed for a party, it would of been nice to know that prior to booking. Clerk recommended a place in town which was horrible. Doors from the locker room and to the pool were so corroded with rust/oxidation you had to throw shoulder into them to open. The room-very dated carpet, peeling paint outside, weather stripping was hanging of the back door, couldn't enjoy the balcony due to water dripping from the second floor. Refrigerator was in defrost mode I believe because it was full of water when we arrived. Bathtub was very old and the hot water was colder than the pool water which was 85 degrees. Vending machines had small bags of gummies for kids and a few snack bags of Dorito's out and that was it. Coke machine was out of order. No confirmation of stay and when I called, I received a recording which would cut off half way. Staff acknowledged problems with reservation system. More than likely will not stay at any time in the future. It might be different in peak season, but I don't plan on staying to find out.

Find somewhere else to stay. This place does not even deserve the word “resort” in its name. Paint is peeling everywhere, heater didn’t work, tv remote skipped 30 channels at a time, Luke warm shower water at best, restaurant closed (and didn’t bother to notify us at time of reservation either), no towels available at the pool area, and the housekeeping starts vacuuming at 6:30 am. To top it off, we had to call to confirm our reservation. There was also a problem with their system they didn’t know of this until we called. They confirmed the reservation the evening before our stay. These are just a few things, I can go on. Just save your time, energy and money and stay elsewhere.
