My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Angler's Inn and loved it. Clean, beautiful rooms with plenty of space. The Victorian-era house is well decorated and has a charming and rustic feel without sacrificing any of the modern amenities (air conditioning works great, wireless internet, plenty of warm water, lots of space, each room has its own bathroom, etc.). Debbi is a great cook and is very knowledgeable about Harpers Ferry and Jefferson County. Downtown Harpers Ferry is less than a mile away. There are some good restaurants in Bolivar that are open reasonably late and are within reasonable walking distance from the Angler's Inn. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Harpers Ferry is a great place to stay and I can say that the Angler's Inn is hands down the best B&B (or place for that matter) I've stayed at. We had great conversations with the guests and host - the house was so clean I wasn't compelled to clean behind anyone. (That's hard to do!)

I read a review that claimed the breakfast was terrible and while everyone has their preferences, the food was simply amazing in my eyes! It's not a standard eggs and toast breakfast, Debbi really put thought and time into preparing a unique meal. While I didn't have any dietary restrictions, I was in awe at how accommodating she was to other guests' restrictions and preferences! I agree with another user that claimed the portion of breakfast wasn't large; however, it was a perfectly reasonable size. Particularly if you'll be out fishing, hiking, white water rafting, etc - you don't need to be sickeningly full; instead it was delicious, high quality, and nourishing.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were maps/town info pamphlets, an assortment of sodas, hot tea, and cookies for the guests. I would suggest you purchase a case of water to keep in your room though if you're not partial to tap water.

Lastly, I cannot recommend white water rafting and zip-lining enough!

My boyfriend and I stayed for our anniversary. We were greeted with a warm welcome, tour of the house and cookies! The house and room (McKenzie room) were clean and the size of the room was great!. The room included our own private bathroom, separate attached sitting room for reading or relaxing, a queen sized bed and our own private entrance/exit.

The room was advertised as being right next to the breakfast area on the first floor but the owner did a great job at keeping the area quiet until breakfast time. We wake up early so that wasn't a problem.

It was definitely like a home away from home and we hope to come back soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful overnight stay. We were in the Washington Room, which was gorgeous. The entire B&B is beautiful. The hosts are kind and make a delicious breakfast. The location is perfect. Harpers Ferry is a gem of a town. Highly, highly recommended on all fronts!

My boyfriend and I stayed here and it was lovely. The place is well kept and the hosts have lots of hospitality. We didnt run into any problems at all. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very ornate. There are plenty of extra blankets and towels as well as a common room with plenty of complimentary drinks.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night after hiking the Appalachian trail. The owner was so kind she gave us food recommendations and offered any assistance we needed and trust me we looked horrible. The room was amazing and the breakfast top notch. We will definitely be making our way back here.

My fiance and I booked a last minute trip to Harper's Ferry last weekend. The Angler's Inn was incredibly accommodating. We stayed in the McKenzie Room and loved every detail. The room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and private sitting room as well as porch access. Our breakfast was delicious and the host struck the perfect balance between providing advice and giving us our space. Angler's Inn is in a great location and a comfortable spot to land after exploring Harper's Ferry. Next time we are going to make time to stay longer!

It's the little things...a tin of homemade cookies, meticulously picked breakfast ingredients on-top a lazy susan, and plush bath towels. A stay at Angler's Inn will delight you at every turn. Debbi has thought of every minute detail. She will greet you warmly upon arrival, give local recommendations, and start her tour around the property to your room.

The Remington room comes highly recommended. Asian inspired decour with a sunlit sitting room. Which breakfast will be served in if you stay more than 1 night. Speaking of breakfast, it's different everyday and Debbi will take great care in fixing a substitute if needed. Events like fishing and river experiences can be booked here too.

Comfy, romantic, and rejuvenating. These are just some descriptions of the only worthwhile place to stay inn Harper's Ferry.
