Berkeley Springs Motel

Its an inexpensive motel with not many frills. That's what I expected. No wifi, phone, iron, or coffee pot in your room. There is no ice maker either. I was just showering and sleeping there anyway. There is a 7-11 store next door. If you want to be pampered and have all the frills then you will have to pay more somewhere else. Overall it was fine. The water is very hot. The TV and AC works fine. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room. (you will need to plug in the fridge) The Indian owners were nice and did take my credit card when I called to make a reservation. $50 per night for a non smoking queen bed. If I were in town again and wanted an inexpensive place to stay, I would stay here again.

The most basic motel I've ever stayed at for a premium price. Rooms are not cold weather friendly. Our room had a space heater. Microwave and fridge are provided but no coffee maker. Clean but small and sparse. Owners/staff were friendly. Rooms are entered directly from the outside. Furnishings are older and dated, but in decent condition.

“They have a no refund policy which they strictly enforce” you will regret staying here.
I would have rather slept in my car I’m not even joking. Please read and think carefully. It’s not worth it. I’ll post pictures later.

This motel is absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately I’ve stayed here multiple times for a job in the area but no more.

Originally the rooms I stayed in were “somewhat” tolerable. Broken fridge, and TV. I was only there for a day so it didn’t matter. They constantly over charged the quoted prices of 50 dollar and charged $15 dollars more.
They do not have a breakfast “at all” so false advertising.
The numerous health, fire and electrical violations. As the room I stayed in had fecal matter under neither the sheets. People had clearly smoked in that room to the point where a tar film cover just about everything. Roaches were actually on top of the fridge. Numerous blood spots on many items. Broken glass on the carpet. Cigarette burn covered the sheets with holes.

The only thing they have going for them is they’re “nice” customer service skills however being nice is not always being honest or does it cover proper hygiene and safety for customers. Being lied to with a smile is worse than honesty and integrity with being blunt.

I hope you all learn from my review. That was not cool and I hope you all fix this.

They overcharged me an extra $15.00 on top of $50.00 for a dirty run down uncomfortable room. The carelessness and lack of sanitation or hygiene makes this place unacceptable when your trying to rest your family for the night. There wasn't just one or two problems with the amenities because everything.....beds, tv, bathroom, fridge, incoming bright outside light etc etc etc was bad. This place sucks something awful so do your self a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Just a terrible experience all around. Broken bed and wall fixtures. Heat did not work in our room and we were given a space heater. The wifi didn’t work. Little to no amenities. If all you need is a dry place to sleep this place will do that but anything else forget it.

Been staying here for years during Apple butter festival..and this year was surprised buy the upgrades...apparently the new owners listened to reviews and acted on all complaints...Jen and Sue are awesome and very accommodating. I always love the convenience of being able to walk anywhere and knowing I don't have to worry about the traffic..Sue even gave us bottled water in case we had dry pipes (her words) after too much festivities :) New bedding and towels...fresh paint...old musty curtains gone! Listen it's not the Hilton but that's why I didn't give it 5 stars...its a very clean little Motel and the rooms are clean and very comfortable and everything you need...I will continue to stay there for years to come!

Space heater for heat. No heat in bathroom with cold tile floor. Old tv with very poor picture. No coffee pot. Refrigerator not on, would take too long to cool. Only one towel for two guests. Unfriendly service. Been in much nicer places for the price.

It's ok if you're just staying for one night and have a place to be tomorrow, but I wouldn't imagine staying there for longer than that. No food, a big dead spider, the bathroom had paint peeling and a dirty floor, and the door had a window pane missing. The people running the place were nice though, so that earns them a star.
It's bearable if you're desperate, and it's at least way better than sleeping in your car.
