Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Mineral Wells/Parkersburg

This is a great hotel. The staff is so kind. Front desk is always willing to help in any way... Breakfast is okay. They have fruit and yogurt which I love. The room was very nice size. Several TV stations. Room was very clean. House keeping a big shout out to you. I am I. The area couple times a month and they always remember I want a extra blanket. Great bunch of people. The best of the best

Positive: Decent location and nice showers. Negative: Food and crumbs left over from previous guests. Mini fridge still had was not cleaned out. Garbage cans not changed. Rotten food in the ice bin.

Positive: Convenience to where I was working. Negative: Room unclean. Was not wiped down. No health precautions in place. No breakfast. (1 apple. 1 piece of bread) front desk said he was gonna go to the store but that didn¿t help anyone needing to leave. Overall not a clean or good experience.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, and good water pressure! Staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

Rooms were clean when we got there, but they never came to clean anytime during our 3 days that we had booked. Breakfast was a joke; there was a waffle maker but they ran out of batter the 2nd day. Bagels and dry cereal were the only other choices. We didnt stay much in the hotel otherwise we would have went to another.

Most of these reviews are FAKE! Rooms were dirty, beds not made with nasty stains on them, smelled like mildew and WEED…oh yeah, the door wouldn’t close all of the way like it had been broken into before. Our family of 10 had multiple rooms and they all were dirty and gross. We walked in, looked it over and walked out. MICROSTAY! Forgot to mention the VIP Club strip joint is directly across the road too!!

It was an okay hotel. Very friendly front desk staff. They definitely need to do a better job at cleaning. Stained carpets, black stains on wash cloths, black hairs left in the shower, corner of the room was a cigarette butt and snack wrapper, and on the duvet, we noticed the next morning, blood on the underside of the duvet cover. We threw it down with lights out and never noticed until morning. Had we noticed we would not have waited until checkout time to report these things. The front desk staff was very apologetic and seemed sincere. They went directly up to the room to check it out and said they had another guest in that room causing trouble the day before. So why wasn’t the duvet changed if that was what it was from would be my question? We get that some things can go unnoticed but unacceptable for dirty washcloths and duvets. They should be checked out during cleaning and folding stage before they get into the guests room. We never stayed for the continental breakfast we were just ready to go after our conversation with the front desk. Maybe someone else will get a better room when they stay……

Front desk was amazing. Breakfast was pretty good, shower was nice and hot with great pressure. Britney (sure I spelled it wrong) in housekeeping cleaned my room and did an amazing job. She even folded our personal blankets we brought with us. Will be staying the next time I am in town as well.
