SureStay Plus Hotel By Best Western Berkeley Springs

This is an older hotel and very clean but the age is obvious. I only dealt with check in and breakfast staff. Check in was very accommodating and the first morning so was breakfast staff. The second morning I never once saw anyone at breakfast even though I took about 30 minutes to enjoy. It was slower so I guess less important. While clean there were a few ants, five in two days to be exact. One in the bathroom , one on my phone on nightstand and three in the beds over two nights. The barking dogs in one room was annoying but not at night. Overall it met my purpose and I would stay again.

The absolutely best is the restaurant which shares the property though not affiliated. Angus $ Ale is the best steaks, prime rib and burgers I have ever had. The hotel would do much better to promote as I did Norma even notice the shared parking lot until I ask IPhone for directions and saw wax only 73 feet away. I would stay at the hotel for a week just to eat three every night.

Very impressed with this hotel actually.
The staff at the front was beyond amazing this weekend. So kind, and just genuinely nice people.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Coffee machine downstairs actually had me shocked, instant hot coffee that actually tastes very decent( compared to other hotels). The pool was clean, and WARM. I had a blast and will use this hotel in the future. Thanks for everything

Just stayed there for a couple nights and it was pretty much what you could ask for. Staff was nice and considerate, breakfast was more than decent and the room my dad and I stayed in was actually pretty nice. Only negative experience I had, which I know isn't the staff or hotel's fault, was a man being blatantly and loudly racist close to the entrance where the breakfast was layed out. I only wished someone confronted him. Otherwise, it exceeded my expectations in a good way.

We opted to stay at Best Western tonight in Berkeley Springs WV. Tony has never been here so I wanted to share the area with him. We will sight see in the area tomorrow morning before heading back into Maryland.

The hotel is very lovely. It has an outside pool and a fitness center but we walked about 6 miles total today sightseeing and pretty worn out.

Our room is awesome!!! We received the AARP discount. We have 2 Queen size beds so we are Sleeping separately tonight....lol!!! Using every inch of our room!! The AC works great since today so freaking hot!!! Can you say Heat Wave???
The beds are super comfy!!! The room is nice definitely recommend and will stay here again if in the area!!
They serve a hot breakfast so I will tell you about that tomorrow....

Great Hotel!! Very 😁 Happy!!

Rooms were clean. Location was perfect for what we were there for. Tucked up on a hill away from the main road was another nice perk to the location. Beds were comfy. Staff was super friendly! Mama D at the front desk was so helpful and extremely nice, she made it feel like we were family. Amanda the front desk manager was also very friendly and helpful. We got to the hotel from PA a little early and she allowed us to check in since the room was finished. We couldn't thank her enough beings though we rode in on a motorcycle and it was starting to rain. The restaurant across the parking lot had excellent food and very friendly staff. All in all it was a fantastic 2 night stay and we will definitely be staying again for the next East Coast Sturgis event.

We stayed 2 days at Best Western in Berkeley Springs, WV. GPS worked perfectly. The staff was wonderful and our room well furnished and clean. Breakfast food was delicious. Unlimited coffee in the lobby was a plus. Everything was very satisfactory.
Next time we will call Best Western direct to book a room instead of online through a third party.

This is an older hotel and is in need of a major refit. The room, which was pet-friendly with hard wood floors (a great idea for pets), showed 'dust-bunnies' under the bed from poor cleaning (and we found a lost earring!). The breakfast was adequate and the staff quite friendly.

I would also note that the main picture on the website has a photoshopped parking lot and the rooms have been carefully staged for the pictures.

I would say that this is a 'budget' stay and we would probably not return. Shame as we have used Surestay before and seen much better examples of the brand.

I had a great stay here at this motel and the Staff were excellent as well. My room was very nice and very clean and comfortable I had no issues at all. But I was looking for the Best Western sign because I didn't know it was now Sure Stay so it took me a minute to find the turn in entrance to the motel.
