Rodeway Inn

I loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were all remodeled, fresh new carpets and the service wad magnificent. The employees helped carry my luggage into the room and were greatly helpful. I had a second floor balcony room, the view was to die for. I would recommend staying at this hotel for anyone who is looking for great service, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful and clean stay. I will be coming again when I visit family in West Virginia again.

At first glance, it is not the most luxurious place. For me though, customer service goes a long way and that is what my rating reflects. The new owner was very kind and accommodating. When he found out I didn't have a vehicle here, he sent out his maintenance guy to pick up my food order as no one around here delivers.

Also, when the owner saw I wasn't able to get ice from the ice machine, he had ice delivered to my room. The customer service was superb!!!

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! My husband left on a business trip and spent one night in this hotel. He woke up at 3 in the morning with Burning Sensations all over his back. In the morning, he realized that he had been bitten several times on his arms and back. Some of these bites are the size of a quarter or larger. This was a one-night business trip he did not sleep in any other Hotel except this one. It is clear that this hotel is infested with bed bugs. He stayed in room number 212. do not ever stay in room number 212. It is infested. Although the bedbugs were his biggest concern, the fact that there were blood stains on the box springs, random people walking throughout the hotel yelling expletives at people, and unsanitary room conditions are all a part of his unsatisfactory stay. It was obvious the room has not been cleaned or maintained as there was dust everywhere, the carpet was dirty, and you can only access hot water. This this place should be shut down. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau!

Please do not stay or even consider staying! It feels like you are in a scary movie! Also they Rob you blind if you reserve a room then get there and see how just down right filthy the place is they will not give you your money back. They advertise continental breakfast which they do not have, they definitely have bed bugs amoungst other bugs, the employees are as dirty as the rooms, and it seems you can probably buy anything in the parking lot out front if you know what I mean. Please save yourself the hassle there is a great Best Western right down the road go there!

I got sent here for work, the staff are so pleasant and friendly. We arrived in the wee hours of the night, and the gentleman Charles was so nice to us. Our work messed up the room situation, but Patty the manager went to fix everything this morning when she arrived. Breakfast is served at 7, and that is when we have to work, my boyfriend said Awh man I’ll miss breakfast, and Charles had put breakfast out early for us, which we saw at 645 am: We met the owner Jay, and he was really nice as well: The rooms were clean, staff friendly. If I ever go back to that little town I’ll be back to the rodewayinn. Thanks for the pleasant experience in this little town!

Not very nice. At the top of the steps to get to the rooms upstairs they have old AC's sitting right at the top in your way. Had to swipe our key card prob 20 times before it let us in the room. Just to dirty for my liking

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Absolutely filthy. There was TONS of mold in the bathroom air vent, and room stank of mildew, AC was literally taped together. No bed bugs fortunately. But that’s about the only plus I can think of. If this were a $30 room I’d excuse it (almost) but it was $70 room. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs. You’ll save more than money by staying somewhere else.

The maintenance and housekeeping are almost non-existent. The Wi-Fi is a joke. I just hope they have gotten rid of the bedbugs that chased me out of my room on my last visit. The best thing I can say about this place is that it's cheap but given it's issues it's not cheap enough.
