Hampton Inn Parkersburg-Mineral Wells

Last weekend I stayed in the hotel with my family. Rooms were very clean. And also we enjoyed the morning breakfast excellent. Morning breakfast staff Nina made us home from home. She was very friendly and helpful willing to serve and beyond.

I can already say this place is great because I work here, but after staying a few nights in it myself im officially able to say that as a guest this place is nice! The staff is nice, the rooms are clean, and they have a very wide variety of food at breakfast! The beds are really nice, once you lay down you won’t want to get back up.

We had a nice stay here, rooms are quiet and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the am was well stocked and managed.

This location has 3 Tesla destination chargers and 1 J1772. Someone iced one of the spaces. If you're J1772, I'd recommend buying a Tesla tap before you stay here or travel to this area. (I saw more icing on this trip to WV and OH, than I've seen in the entire time we've owned an EV.)

Couples things kept this Hilton hotel from reaching a 5 star rating. I stay at Hilton’s throughout the US and this time I used points to pay as it was for pleasure and not business.

1. There was a sign on pool that said it was closed at 7:00pm, went out later kids were in pool at 9:00pm - I suggest moving sign off door until pool is actually closed.

2. TV - TV had no source/cable when I turned on - went to front desk, lady got master remote went to my room and reset. Easy fix but inconvenience.

3. Loud outside activity as my room was by outside door, and person above us was walking stomping periodically throughout night.

4. My digital key card was deactivated prior to checkout. Could not access doors or my hotel room had to have card made at lobby desk to enter room prior to packing to leave.

5. Breakfast was stop at 9:15am on Sunday. Usually hours are 6-9am Monday through Friday and 7-10am on the weekends. I settled for bread and butter for breakfast.

6. Attitude of staff, staff seem grumpy/on edge when I guest has a question or complaint. But are quick to resolve issue.

The best place to stay in Mineral Wells. The staff is awesome! Shout out to April, Daryl, Roxann and Pam. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool is so clean and refreshing. You’re also close to Downtown Parkersburg so it’s a really great location.

We travel a good bit. The staff was the best we've ever experienced. From start to finish. If I could give them 100 stars, I certainly would. Front desk was kind and quick to help get us in a room. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was warm and hit the spot. Everyone was beyond helpful. I seriously, appreciated this stop more than anticipated.

We had a very nice stay. Room was quiet. No outside noise. Beds were comfortable and room was cool. Shower had great water pressure! Breakfast was really good! Plenty of options for everyone .

Very pricy room. But very nice and comfortable accomadations.
Pillows and bed were very nice. Room was clean.
They should not advertise door dash for local restaurants.
They claim 35 minute wait time but in reality it was an hour and a half wait and food was ice cold. Waste of money.
