Cacapon Lodge

I loved this hotel! I came here in March. I was originally going to stay for 2 nights, but a huge snow storm came on the second night, so we extended our stay to 3 nights. They were very nice about it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is very fun, especially with the hot tub. The restaurant was so good! Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful. There is a stunning view of the on-site golf course. There is a bathhouse right in town. Highly recommend going there. I went horseback riding as well! I love the hotel. It is newly renovated so its very modern. I really recommend this hotel. I made many memories here and will definitely come back soon!

We went to the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Juan was our server. He was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our meals. We also had cocktails at the bar and spent time at the lake, reminiscing about our visits as children. We have brought our grandchildren here and stayed in a cabin close to the lodge. The new pool and accommodations look like an excellent option for our next family visit.

This is a very nice new hotel very modern but the room is noisy it sounded like there was a daycare either underneath of me or next to me and it was quite annoying Plus you could hear talk people talking in the hallway The doors have very little soundproofing.. and for the size of the hotel I cannot believe there's only one set of elevators which is probably a thousand feet from the registration area it's quite a distance if you're moving your luggage. The restaurant has a beautiful view looking over the golf course and it has a wonderful terrace and there is a fire pit it's quite nice The menu is limited and for some reason they still have not learned how to use their charbroiler so I would not order a hamburger it was quite disappointing.. it's a great park with lovely facilities it has something for everybody and it's a great place for families it is about a 12-minute ride from Berkeley Springs. They have a very nice spa there and my wife enjoyed having a massage and facial she thought it was excellent.. maybe you need to request a room facing the golf course and not the parking for a better view and it will be a little quieter.

Wow, who knew that this is so close to Maryland! Better stay than a Name brand hotel, great amenities and park facilities! Park had awesome picnic areas with a grill and wonderful family time. Paddle boats, a lake beach, and even a great spa and skeet shooting! So much more! A great family vacation and reasonably priced! Our daughter enjoyed the pool and play ground! Relaxing and a great get away… House keeping ( Janie ) was awesome and words can’t even express how nice she made our visit! We have stayed the past few years and will be back again next year! Even our infant enjoyed the luxury accommodations! Our 4 year old loved the activities!

Had a wonderful time there. One complaint was of the Saturday nightdinner service. They didn't have enough employees to attend to the guess while attending to the wedding they booked the same day of Therefore, I watched many guess complained and walked out while waiting on a table after a 45 minutes wait. Upon after finally gaining entrance into the dinning area and ordering our food. We began to find ourselves waiting again, " your food will be up momentarily ". We heard theses words continuously. Finally, we asked, what is going on? The young lady stated. " I am sorry we gave your food to the wrong table and we need to make you another plate, but we will give you a discount ". My husband and I looked at each other, and he said.."unbelievable ". Finally got a meal, with a whooping discount of 4.00$ off . My husband stated..you would have think the Manger would have came out to help out, because Saturday night was a hot a mess, and even though I was an unsatisfied customer. My husband asked me the question..should we leave a tip? I said yes..I said that young girl did all she could with all that she had, it was not her fault. Leave her a tip to encourage her to come back and fight, and don't give up when it's hard. Those 3 young people in that restaurant that night. I was impressed with them.. they was running hard with all they have. So, really now that I think about it, I like to say thank you for those 3 young hard workers that you had on that night, who never gave up!!

Got married there and stayed for 5 nights. Nothing could have been better. A very relaxing time there, clean room, delicious dining, beautiful hiking, and some fun horseback riding. It's close to Berkeley Springs where there is the hot springs bath, nice little shops, and home cooking restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Awesome place! The hotel is renovated and the amenities are great. I would definitely recommend coming here.
The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because the staff wasn't friendly, they were even rude sometimes. However I would still go back to this amazing place

The location is beautiful with all the new upgrades. The spa is amazing, the rooms in the spa were cold... also, wayyy to much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. I did not stay in the physical rooms on site, i was in a cabin.
