This place was amazing. Clean room with WiFi and very updated with sitting rooms and terrific service. I highly recommend the lounge for a game a pool and drinks. My husband and I just wondered in and everyone was friendly and warm. True West Virginia authentic kindness. We paid $75.00 for the room and enjoyed this historic meets modern classic atmosphere. We definitely will be coming back.

Well kept older facility that exudes a homey charm. They have a party pavilion in the back and on the right side that was hopping this particular Friday night. Well appointed fresh smelling room that looked recently redone had good WiFi reception. The A/C, your standard under-the-window unit, was unusually quiet. Plenty of free parking. The Jawbone town park, that has a nice Every-Friday music festival, is in easy walking distance, just cut through the fire station grounds.

The room was a place to stay. It was clean, the ac worked great. The bed was terrible and there was just an odor in the room that would not go away. It is a very old establishment that needs some serious attention. They offered coffee and prepackaged pastries. Service was great. Employees were very friendly.

First off Buchanan west Virginia is a beautiful place and this hotel is a beautiful quite and clean place to stay. Shower was amazing hot water was hot.. the staff at front desk was awesome very helpful and kind. For our 2day trip it was amazing. We came to check out Lorentz West Virginia because my husbands 5th great grandfather founded the place and we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.. highly recommend hotel.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels in Buckhannon. Clean, modern, a very nice escape. Blazing fast WIFI to boot! I highly recommend staying here. I know I will be coming back.

This was a little out of the way but very reasonably priced so we traveled about 11 miles off the interstate. It was clean, quiet and friendly. The door didn't work at first and they fixed it immediately and apologized too much :) Very close to restaurants and in the morning you could help yourself to coffee and a large basket of muffins, breads and biscotti's.

This older property was visibly dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor in public areas and our room. There were odd stains on the walls of our room and the bathroom door had to be slammed shut in order to close it. We could not get hot water in our room, even after running it for 10 minutes— staff said that we didn’t run it long enough for hot water to reach our room.

Picking up my daughter at the college near by. This hotel was great. Clean, has a lounge, friendly staff. We will always stay here when we visit her at school.
