We stayed there in the beginning of July. We arrived after hours but the staff did leave our paperwork in the mail box for us. The campsite was grass and hadn't been mowed in weeks. The grass had to be a foot tall. Most of the campground was empty, which should have been a warning bell for us. There were plenty of camper spots with a concrete pad open but not ours.

The back page of the map filled with rules. Things like "no hanging towels or clothes out to dry, we have a 24 hour laundry". The don't tell you when you get there that the laundry takes a MacGray card, which you can't get after hours. The security guard was there the night we arrived but for the next 3 days anytime we came through after 5 the guard shack had an "out to lunch" sign hanging on it.

The 2nd day we were there maintenance finally mowed the lawn. Of course they didn't move our table or chairs but just mowed around our spot getting everything covered in cut grass. The couple times I went to the office the staff was friendly enough but I didn't feel very welcome. We ended up checking out a day early. Althout it was primarily a place to sleep while doing Universal Studios, we just didn't like the place so we headed home.

I call it a park & go. Not appealing to us. Our site was on grass, that needed mowing. We booked a premium site. More for the park models, not RV's...not returning.

Bought here 4 years now. Since we've been the gym equipment is the same and broken the whole time! You pay a lot fee but they do absolutely nothing, if you need a tree pruned that's pre existing on the lot that your responsibility, you have to keep up the grass that's on the lot you renting, any roots or movement of the foundation that causes your home to sag that's on the lot is your responsibility. So I asked one time what are we paying for. The reply was the amenities that we couldn't use for 2 years . What a joke. And it took them 2 days to send out a text about the hurricane and what they were planning on doing. No pets control either, constantly fighting with RATS! I wouldn't recommend it unless they make some major changes to there policies!

My husband and I wanted to buy a home at this location. So we tried contacting any agent at this location which was difficult to begin with. But the information we did get via email was for the lot rental itself, which was questionable. The requested information seemed a bit much for the lot rental of the house, so we wanted to speak to the agent to get clarification.
What we were told, that if my husband and I bought the house on this lot, HE would be allowed to live there, but I would NOT. Because financially I don`t meet their qualifications, even though he is the main primary. They insist that ALL ABOVE THE AGE OF 18 living in the PURCHASED home, has to meet the qualifications to live there or they will not be allowed to rent the land for the home purchase.
The information they were requesting was also very intrusive. To the levels as if you were applying for serious financing. It was this information requirements that made us question these requirements, and try contacting an agent there to get clarification. Like I said, this was for the purchase of a home there, and these requests were for the lot rental for the house, that is already on the lot.
The simple fact that this location, is willing to tell a husband that wants to buy a house there, that their spouse will not be able to live with them because that person does not meet their financial requirements, even though they are not the main bread winner is REDICULOUS.

Renting a small house and just gave us two months to move out in the middle of holidays. No compasión of whatsoever.
Management is horrible. I even asked for an extra month and of course did not want to do it. If you buy a house here you pay lot rent that goes up every year; and they don’t tell you that.
Very upset at them.

Worst customer service I have ever experience. Extremely rude, no professionalism what so ever. The community is mostly elderly people and this company don't have any compassion or at least basic customer to offer them. Please research for another place if your parents or family member are thinking about moving to this location. My grandparents live here they received a letter and had some question. I had to call the office because I don't leave with them & was helping them verify the information on the letter. From the first moment I called the phone etiquette was out the door. This was very frustrating due to the fact that I'm not close to my grandparents & could not find anyone to help, when I just truly has some questions. I finally called a third time and was able to talk to Miss. Debbie. She was the only one I was able to get help from & information for my grandparents. She answer our question, was understanding and so pleasant. Just in case you read this review Miss. Debbie keep making the difference you truly make an impact!!!
