USPS-Southside Postal Store

I don't understand why you'd try to deliver something that has to be signed during regular work hours while I'm at work, then request I come by to pick up my package only to have absolutely ZERO employees in the building to give me the package. A giant waste of my time.

Can not get out going mail picked up by carrier
Just puts the days mail in on TOP OF OUT GOING MAIL

NOBODY REALLY CARES OR WANTS TO DO ANYTHING ANOUT IT

FYI If you are trying to have an I9 employment verification document witnessed don't bother going to any USPS in Lakeland. They all Refuse to do it. The people here were not as rude as the lady at Highland city post office but they did say they don't witness because the post office doesn't want to be responsible. They didn't clarify what they didn't want to be responsible for but I'm assuming they don't want to verify your identity and then you are not who you say you are. Ok. I get it but it seems extremely unreasonable and ridiculous being as though you have to come here to also get the most official ID you can have in this country, your Passport. So they can accept your passport application but will not then verify who you say you are with that same government issued passport!? I wish someone could make it make sense. My employer directed me to the USPS for this verification signature but like I said they refuse to do it. With that being said if you are in need of the same service don't waste your time or gas just get a friend or neighbor to witness for you. 🙄

The VERY BEST Customer Service I have ever experienced. I was in a long line and a very nice gentleman approached me about taking care of my packages for me. Kudos for Lakeland South Branch.

They loose mail all the time, deliver to different address, it is impossible to get through to them on the phone, website (I know it is US wide) has chat feature that never works, and when you mark that you are missing mail in Informed Delivery portal nothing happens. Even more frustrating when you know you suppose to receive important documents and you see image of it being out for delivery and it never gets to you.

I own a bird business and I had a buyer in Chicago call me at 3 PM wondering where her birds were because they were supposed to arrive at 10:30 AM...I tried calling but all their numbers are voice machines and barely give you any information on your package's location. I'm very upset, those were LIVE birds and now I have no clue where they are...Do better. Edit: My client still hasn't gotten the birds and it's been 20+ hours my birds won't survive that long without food and water, mind you I payed extra so they could get there in a day please do something about this.
Edit to my edit: For those wondering, all of the birds arrived to their destination, alive, 3 days later than the actual arrival date even after I payed extra. My only advice is to mail your packages at your own risk.
