Postal worker, Karen (I read her name tag), is an angry, bitter person. She snarls, and grunts for answers. Never looks up, when addressing customers. She stepped-away from the counter, I quickly asked if there was somewhere to drop-off my eBay (paid shipping) packages. She barely moved her eyes my way, and snapped, "I don't have time for you." --- not even a complete sentence. As you know, most USPS offices have a drop-off area.

She was the only employee working at 9:20 a.m., I dropped-off my packages to her at 10:03 a.m., there were a mere six customers in front of me (43 minutes PLUS to wait on six customers). It's evident, she doesn't get paid for manners, demeanor, professionalism, courtesy, nor speed accountability.

When I finally got out of there, the customers were out the door holding both doors for one another, and squeezing in up to the glass doors from the short walkway.

It was an uncomfortable, and unnecessary experience.

I can count on both hands, including myself, who would covet her job, since Karen seems to not treasure her government job. BUT HEY, who's going to read this, and do anything about her, and others like herself? Hopefully, you.

The staff there is pretty friendly and caring. It’s a good atmosphere and they will bend over backwards to help customers. I love Petra, Karen and Trish. Now and again we get Joe. He makes it even more fun. He lights up the post office and has everyone laughing. He will ask ahead of time what service you need so that when you come to the counter you do not have to go off to the side and come back. I love that little post office. I see people come in and get mad because they were not having a good day and they left smiling and giving a million thank you for how they took care of the situation.
Several times I was about to ship stuff and I chose the more expensive way not knowing which way to go and they always help me to go in the right direction. Everyone is treated special in that place.
They work as a team too in there. They live good with each other they are angels in that place. God bless you all at Lantana PO.

The lines get long at times but it’s because people know that they get the best service there and they go pretty fast. I never waited long in a line there because everyone is well trained and they know what they are doing.

We have a monthly shipment that comes from Amazon and the carrier refuses to even attempt to deliver it and leave a note in our mailbox saying to come pick it up at the post office. We have Ring doorbell and someone was home at the time of this attempted delivery. Why does USPS fail to do their one job they were paid to do (UPS and FedEx has no issues with the deliveries)? You're open Monday through Friday when we're at work so I would have to take off work to come get the package. Everytime this happens we are filing a complaint with Amazon as well who says there are already a number of complaints about your service and hopefully enough complaints they stop using you guys which it sounds like they are on the verge of doing because you can't do the one job you were paid to.

Update: We get packages at our door 2 days later from USPS and they aren't ours. Totally wrong building. If they are delivering packages again why didn't they attempt a second delivery for ours? We still don't have our package that was supposed to have been here 4 days ago. Whoever the carrier is working Hypoluxo really needs to get their act together.

I’ve lost count the number of times other people’s mail is in our mail box. Makes me Wonder how many times my mail has wound up in someone else’s hands. I have two packages missing this week. That’s just this week. I’m so over this. Literally want to move just so I can get a decent postal delivery system. Sucks.

The male who was working today at 9:30am is unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. He should not be working for the postal service or in customer service. I am appalled by his behavior. I have never had an issue here until recently. I have had 2 packages that were to be mailed out and never scanned in that I personally dropped off at the post office. I hope someone looks into these issues and replaces this employee.

Very unprofessional post office ..Needs new employees that want to help customers. 2day shipped not delivered 2weeks ...lost for days then found , still not delivered days from then for no reason after called and rescheduled, found sitting on shelf a week after planned delivery date Monday had to get it myself after calling 5 times ..AVOID IF POSSIBLE

Horrible people!!! They charged my husband $56.05 to mail a 3 pound package! Should have been $20.85, but the guy claimed it was the size of the box. The box I just received from someone else who had no issues with the size of the box. Completely insane! Horrible, horrible people. And at Christmas time, none the less. BEWARE!!!
