The worst I have never seen in a funeral home while grieving our beloved mother/grandmother at a viewing. First at all, they did a good job with embalming the body, However, the viewing part was a chaos. He held 2 viewings at the same time, basically in one room divided into two areas. The small area assigned to my family had an urine scent and could not even hold more than 25 people. Most of our friends and family members had to stand out in the hallway. In addition, he had 2 different family gatherings in a small reception room.
Can you imagine how crowded this small room could be with 2 different viewings without prior consent? It was a total chaos. When I tried to let the owner know how my family was not happy of the way he handled the viewing; he had the nerve to be defensive, rude, disrespectful, and nasty telling me not to bring my family funeral business to his place in the future. My relatives were so unhappy the night before burying our beloved mother/grandmother. At least we expect an apology for the way we were treated. I would never recommend this funeral home to anyone in the future because of lack of professionalism.

If this company had negative reviews before what really matters is rendering those negatives and making improvements where necessary.
I was blown away. This company takes professionalism to another level.
They even drove from their Lantana location in Deerfield which is a lovely location, all the way to Ft lauderdale to pick up the body j from another funeral home.
We never had to plan a funeral before. Had no idea what to expect or what to do.
Brown's staff took care of everything. I mean everything, things we did not consider or may have forgotten.
They made the whole experience stress free. Allowing us to grieve without feeling that additional burden.
Every member of staff where genuinely courteous, kind and considerate.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE, EXCEPTION CARE

I purchased this arrangement for my husband’s niece funeral on today March 26th low and behold this unique arrangement never made it to the wake or the funeral. I went in person to the florist immediately after the service and confirmed the flowers were in fact delivered to Brown’s Funeral Home. So I called the funeral home and spoke with a gentleman I did not get his name this was my first call, he assured me that he would call me back once he team returned to funeral home. Well 2-1/2 hours later no call so I again called again this time a female answer I was expressing my concerns and I could hear a male in the background saying they would deal with it on Monday. I again expressed the flowers we’re not there and the arrangements was unusual so I know for sure they were not there. The man in the background was Mr Brown his voice seemed agitated that I was again calling. Anyway he authorized the female to return my funds for the flowers which I received via Zelle. That 3 Star is for allowing a possible future customer to hear the impatient tone in your response to your company mistake

On behalf of my entire family, we would like to extend our thanks and gratitude for arranging our family member's journey home. I want to thank Latoya and Trenise for their professionalism, compassion, and care; they made a difficult situation a little easier to endure. Brown Funeral Home service opened their arms to our family. The entire staff was pleasant, respectful, and courteous. You were there for us every step of the way and fulfilled our every need, comforting us and supporting us like you would your own family. From day one, they exhibited nothing but compassion towards our family. They answered every question, and returned every call without hesitation.

The memorial service was exemplary. Thank you for contacting the florist to ensure we received excellent service. You handled every detail with class, style, and understanding. At a time of great stress, you relieved us of those heavy burdens. We cannot thank you and your excellent staff enough for that.

Be careful who you go to for funeral services.
From personal experience with Browns funeral home in Lantana and Dixie, overall seems like it’s just a business.

We paid extra prior because service was going to be done after 12pm and we had until 2pm to be at the cemetery.

The owner didn’t reopen my moms casket at the end and butchered my flowers arrangements cards’ reading.

Most of the employees are nice but my mom’s service was rushed and Boca had my mom’s dates wrong. It seems the Browns did not clarify anything. The day of service we did not know what time they were coming to pick us up.

They put on the 1975 to 2021. My mom was born on 1969 and died 2022.

They told people during service that we were behind time or we’ll be charged extra when we already paid extra.

Overall unprofessional and lack of serenity. They rushed our service to get to another service.

I only have one mom, bad enough my mom died without knowing her cause of death at the moment but to experience this, made our grieving process worse.

My family hired Brown’s Funeral Home for my father’s funeral and their services was exceptional! Everything from their patient demeanor to the delivery of the service was beyond expectation. The band that was hired were amazing. They played more than we asked for, and knew all the songs that were part of the service. We made several calls which were answered, and with every hiccup they worked to make sure the day was memorable. I could not ask for more. Definitely recommend their services.

Had my grandmas funeral here at Browns! It was a nice experience! It was clean and looked very nice. They did an amazing job with my grandma she looked like she was sleeping! The gentlemen’s there were very helpful and respectful and overall I’m happy and satisfied with the service the only thing I would say it’s a little pricey but they went all out and it was well worth it! I recommend!

Brown’s Funeral Home did an AMAZING job for my mom’s funeral...thank you!! This was the first funeral that I had to arrange and Ms. Trenise along with Mr. Brown, were very professional, helpful and kind to our family. Having the horse and carriage was a final beautiful touch for our dear mom. I highly recommend their services.
