My life partner of 30 years passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. I immediately contacted Serenity Funeral Home and was greeted upon entering by Funeral Diector Steven G. Steven helped me to navigate the process and select the most appropriate services package to meet my needs and objectives. I thought the overall package cost was quite reasonable, especially for the Lauderdale area. Keila, Christina, Ivy and Steven worked with me as a team to create the Memorial Service experience that I wanted to achieve. They used the photos and classical music CD that I submitted to help create a beautiful service. The room in which the service was held was spacious, bright, airy and perfectly set up exactly as I had requested. Also there were unexpected issues at the last moment that some of my life partner's family members caused, and they assisted me to work through them. The flowers that were provided as part of the package were beautiful and larger than I had expected. Everything during the service and afterwards went well and smoothly, and all attendees were properly greeted and treated with respect and dignity.
I was very satisfied with everything, and all went as planned on a tight schedule. I want to thank all those who worked with me from the bottom of my ❤ to make my partner's service the best it could have possibly been!

I highly recommend this family owned company vs a corporate one. Ivy was very sweet as well and always answered my many questions regarding scheduling.

From the moment I spoke toTom on the phone, I knew Senerity was the place for me to held my son Kezikiah's service. Tom was friendly, warm and welcoming, along with the other staff members, and I felt at peace.What a great program. They held our hands from strat to finish. These folks truly made the best out of a bad time for my family. The facilities are nothing like funeral homes of old, it's very bright and modern, which made the experience far less depressing than it could have been. Everyone there was so supportive & kind.

Shout out specifically to Tom Watson, who was the absolute best! He helped us get a reasonable price for all the services & was beyond helpful throughout the entire experience with Serenity. I really cannot say enough good things about this place.

When you find yourself in the position of needing to make final arrangements for your loved one, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better company than Serenity. From the time you walk in the door, the bright, modern and inviting environment will put you at ease. Everyone there couldn’t have been more caring and supportive.

We had the pleasure of working with Tom Watson who offered us exactly what we asked for without trying to push us into something more. He gave us a reasonable cost for all services and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. When it came to the actual service, again it was exactly what we asked for.
This was by far the best experience we could have had. Big thank you to Tom! You made the best of a bad situation.

First I want to thank
Funeral Arranger, Tom Watson for his patience and sincerity. He alone is what sealed the deal for me and choosing this funeral home, after speaking with what seemed be countless other homes. I’m usually a well organized person, but in this sad time, my brain was as good as scrambled eggs.

Secondly, The photos posted of the establishment do not do it the least bit of justice. The entire property from building, to location, to amenities, to decor, to cleanliness is simply unmatched.

The entire staff were completely wonderful in honoring my requests, guiding me through the procedures, thoroughly answering my questions with kindness and almost unbelievable patience no matter how many times I asked (embarrassingly)

I have a large Italian family, who can at times be loud and obnoxious and quite frankly annoying. The staff never lost their patience with any of them. Which I noticed, will forever be thankful to them for.

If you’re like me, and this is your first time arranging a funeral for your loved one, please contact serenity and you’ll instantly understand what I’m trying to convey in this review. I personally worked with Tom, but put my confidence in all of the staff. They will get you through it.

Serenity was an amazing place to bring my husband, I am glad we chose this place, people who works there help us with everything that we needed, no matters the saddest moment that we were having. Special Mr Watson who was all the time calling if I needed anything. I truly recommend this place to bring your loved one .
