Budget Car Rental

Rented a 12 passenger, new van. The owner was nice. He gave it to us with 1/4 tank and said return with that much. (It had 3/8 when we returned it.) I had booked it online, so I verified that taking our small dogs in it was ok. He said yes. No mention of a $250 pet fee. Made it 2 blocks and the back thermostat controls fell from the ceiling. It needed an alignment. I called the next day and told him about the thermostat controls, alignment, and that the change oil soon light came on. He said it is fine and all will be fixed when we return it. No worries. We take it back. The girl who helped us is rude. She said she needed some form saying it only had 1/4 tank. I said is it on that slip I gave you? It's not. He didn't have me sign anything else. She was hateful. She called him to verify. Luckily, he remembered. Then she tells me that I need to pay $250 for it to be vacuumed, because of our dog's hair. I usually rent from Hertz. I have never had an issue. I should have just stuck with my gut, especially when there were two separate, irate customers in there when I picked it up.

FUEL SCAM. BE ALERT. Filled the car up across the street and now they are telling me that they use a chip to read the fuel level which doesn't necessarily match the gauge. If they had told me I would have taken a picture of the fuel gauge. Stay away from BUDGET and AVIS. Also, Second time that the Fast Break enrollment didn't work. When you arrive the paperwork should be waiting for you so that there is no line to wait in. Had to stand in line for 30 minutes only to get poor service and an attitude.

Reserved a car online, reservation was confirmed via email and when we show up to pick up the car the representative informs us no cars are available at this time, but one would be available in a few hours. Come back to this location at the agreed upon time and was informed no cars were available. We requested to just cancel the reservation and Budget representative with a nasty attitude told us to cancel the reservation ourselves. So we call customer support to cancel the reservation and the phone agent told us they could get us a car at another Budget location for 10× the price. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

We had an excellent experience with Harmenio at the budget/Avis on Okechoobie in West Palm area. We had a challenging situation to deal with in regards to changing our pick up and drop off locations and Herminio handled it like a pro and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend this company, to go above and beyond!

THEY STOLE FROM US!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.
We rented a truck to transport something for work, they overcharged us by 500 miles. It was not even physically possible to drive over 500 miles in the couple of hours we had the truck. We caught the mistake and contacted MR HERNANDEZ, the manager of the site, he said he was going to talk with the corporate office. We called for 3 weeks, he stopped answering our phones and no one from corporate ever got back to us. THEY ARE SHADY AND DISHONEST.

To pick up a rental for my daughter’s birthday party. since my car was not able to hold everyone I reserved my reservation several days before. I arrived and they told me that there was not a car ready he insisted that I called the manager which was not there and they told me that they had a different car for me which was fine. then he told me that there would be a charge of $312 when the rental was just $97. I do know that they have a 250 hold which was fine but I was not expecting to be charged 542. I was given the wrong paperwork and the car had less than half of the gas. Then he reverse the charge and charge me again so I was out 889 dollars of course when I called budget they Said it would take a few days but the Customer service was not good and the manager did not answer the phone after I received the rental and has not called me back at all I would highly recommend not to use this company for sure not this location

The worst customer service from this location. For the second time, I made my reservation to pick up the vehicle and when I showed up at the time I reserved it for I was told they don’t have a vehicle for me. I was not contacted ahead of time to notify me of this. The first reservation, I was told they have a vehicle in the parking lot but it’s reserved for someone else. Not sure why their reservation was most important than mine. This reservation was made for more than 5 days ahead of time. You have my contact info, if you can’t fulfill your end of the contract, wouldn’t it be common courtesy to notify me? Then I was told all I can do is call customer service and see if they can modify the reservation to another location but prices could go up. If you need a vehicle at a specific time and want reliable service, I would choose a different location. They have lost my business.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS WPB LOCATION! I would rate this location zero stars if I could. The man and woman who run this location have no idea what they are doing and they are very rude. They did not take the time to do a vehicle inspection at time of rental, which was four hours late. They keep putting random charges on my credit card, even a month after returning the vehicle, and refuse to explain what they are for. Corporate is now involved and the investigative process takes weeks. PLEASE RENT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!
