Don't ever rent from Dollar. I rented from this location and while the desk assistant was kind, the service is horrible. The car I rented was not serviced. Filthy on the outside and smelled like marijuana on the inside. I had to go back inside and redo all the paperwork to get another car. The only 'other' car they had was just returned and was not cleaned. I had to take it. It was disgusting. Vehicle had a car seat and all around the seat was food. The car had enough gas to go 11 miles. By the time I got on my trip I was 1.5 hours behind. Then realized that due to all the food, the car had ants and I was being bit. I had to turn around with the car and head home and clean the car myself. 4 1/2 hours later I got on the road! I am trying to get compensated and I have spent 2 hours being shifted between Car Trawler and Dollar customer service because each party says the other party should process the refund. Don't waste your time and don't get screwed into paying a lot of money for a filthy vehicle from a company that doesn't care about their customers.

I was trying to plan ahead, and therefore booked our car rental months in advance through Dollar. We were scheduled for pickup at 11am, but arrived a few minutes after. As soon as I gave the man behind the desk our information, he said the convertible we booked wasn't available. I was irritated since we had specifically planned to rent one, but we were willing to get something else. However, when we started to talk pricing, he said he could not refund the prepaid amount, despite the fact that they did not have what I booked. After 30 minutes of phone calls between Dollar and their third party booking site, I finally got my money back - about $100. Overall, it was a HUGE hassle and cost me an hour of my time. In addition, the agent at the desk was unhelpful and unapologetic, which definitely made things much worse. Poor customer service and unnecessary delays make me rate them with 1 star.

Would give 0 if possible. Had an 8:00 am appointment to rent the car, got there and no one at the front desk. Concierge at the next desk said our person might be downstairs moving cars around. 30 minutes later and 2 phone calls to dollar customer service who "could not reach our person" aka was not anywhere to be found. They sent us to a different location, rented us a car that was still being cleaned. That person tried to say wait for 20 minutes while he cleaned it so I was forced to take a dirty car or waste more time. All in all about 2 hours of time wasted, dirty car, gas tank wasn't full. Don't waste your time.

Caution stay away from this place these people have no clue what they are doing. We had reservations when we got there they walked us up to another $300 because they said they only had large car. Once we got the car they decided to we could not have that car we needed another one. all our luggage had to come out of that car and put in another car when we got into the last car finally it was filthy we looked in the back seat and it was filled with vomit. They told us they have someone else. It was late we've been there for 2 hours already we just took the car this place is horrible stay away from this place do not rent from here I cannot stress that enough look pictures of the dirty filthy car

Liers, bought my ticket from expdia hotel and car rental deal and this people were not happy about my deal so try to charge $134 dollar extra at the counter by hiding the fee and try to make me sign with infromaing me about the optional charges but I I found out right at the end of the page and told the person what is this optimal charges person this must to rent a car but kept asking why it say optional then, the person finnaly removed this hidden charges and got my compact car, no other options. Be careful liars. And charged me 60 dollars on my credit for tolls.

Let's start with the good...Sara (who was sent from another store to help us) did a great job, was kind and got us on the road quickly.

Now for the bad...and its soooooo bad.

1. They are supposed to pick us up for our rental from our hotel, so two days before our rental I tried to call to schedule our pickup. No answer. For two days. I called the 1800#. They couldn't help. Not a reason to get too upset. I'll just take a Lyft.
2. The Lyft drops us off on rental day. No one showed up for work, leaving us stranded and already out money I shouldn't have had to spend until someone came from another store nearly an hour later.
3. The helpline is no help at all. The lady didn't believe that there was no one at the desk and called 4xs while I was on hold with her. She didn't speak very good English, so it was difficult to explain to her why I was upset.
She tried to find us another car, and did, but wanted to add another $100 to our rental fee because we had to pick up at another location AND I would have to pay for another Lyft to get myself to the new location. Really??
4. The car we got from them had less than half a tank of gas (but I'm betting we will be expected to fill it up before we drop it off), was dirty (and included a pee jug from the last renters and so many bugs stuck to the windshield that it was dangerous to drive very far), and had no wiper fluid in it.

I'll be contacting corporate and the hotel they are located in about one of the most horrible experiences with a travel company I have ever had. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

I would give 0 stars if I could. We rented a car from Dollar, only to find a ROACH infestation in the car. They were climbing on the seats, out of the vents. We called to complain and have someone come pick up the car. They told us to drive the roach infested car to them, and we refused. They CHARGED us and had us wait for two hours alone for them to come. (We are two young girls, we had to wait alone, at midnight, at a closing Disney Springs for them to show up). At about the two hour mark, we receive a call to leave the keys and uber home. The next morning, after we called, they refunded us, but that should've been done from the second we called with the bug problem. They are going to make us wait 24 hours before we can even get a new car. So NOT worth it.

We rented a car for 10 days. I had to exchange the car half way through due to the windshield wipers not working and a thunderstorm ⛈️ rolling in. That's why I gave them only 4 stars. The customer service was fantastic when exchanging and returning the car. Florida has toll roads all over the place so look into a sun pass/ plate pass if you are going to be driving around the state. Dollar offers a sun pass/plate pass weekly and daily. I was charged $87.00 for 10 days which I feel was way to much! $57 for a week and $10 dollars a day. I'm pretty sure I really would have only paid around $20 bucks or less had I arranged my own sun pass / plate pass.Google maps has a setting to navigate around toll roads. We drove from Orlando up to Georgia and back, also out to Daytona Beach and Saint Augustine. Next time I will get my own sun pass / plate pass!
