Avis Car Rental

Arrived and waited a very long time, only to realize that the person being served and who had been waiting for a truck he had reserved four days ago was not being served, because the worker (whose mask was at his chin), could not log in and could not reach his manager, and didn't have the common sense to try to process the other patrons who might not require him to log in to the system he had problems with. The first patron, who had been waiting for an half hour finally went outside to wait to see if the manager would call in and the line advanced. We are being processed, when the worker told us that our reserved van is not available. However, he then told someone who phoned in to find out if they could rent a van that they could pick up the vehicle that he told us was not available. Very poor customer service We took our business to a competitor. We won't be doing business with these folks again.

I will never rent a car at this location. They tell you a price but hid all the fees and extra charges until when you go to drop your vehicle off.
I told them that I was reluctant because of their reviews. Alex and Mike appeared to be nice but hid the true cost of the extension of the car. That is not right. You have to tell your customers the correct cost before they rent your vehicle not after. Check your reviews and improve!!!

I always have a positive experience at this Avis location. I visit the location once a month, sometimes more, to rent a car for corporate travel. Alex is fantastic and he takes care of his team. One time I was concerned about a tire pressure issue and brought the car back. Patrick checked and refilled the tires before a long drive. When comparing Avis to other rental locations, they offer quality cars and I love how they actually answer the phone if you call with a question and give you your receipt promptly when you return a car. The cars are given to you with a full tank which was never the case with the other rental location I used before. Yes, it might be hard to track down an available vehicle nowadays, but if you are patient and kind, you will get wonderful customer service. Thank you Alex!

I will only go to this location from now on. Michael was the rental agent that assisted me. His customer service was amazing. I really appreciate that he stayed over 30 minutes past closing time to make sure I was able to get my rental. Best experience I’ve had at a car rental location EVER!

This location doesn't have the vehicle you reserved and the person attending this place doesn't help you resolving the issue, he is more interested in listening his music and talk to his alexa.

I had the pleasure of renting a vehicle from this (Margate) location for the first time a few days ago. From the moment I made the call through the day of pick up and the day of return it was such a nice experience. Alex made the process so smooth, taking time to listen to what my needs were and ensuring all my concerns were addressed and met beyond my expectations. Alex was nothing short of a professional. As a local (city of Plantation resident) who normally uses other rental car options, I must say you’ve gained a new customer. Alex, your kindness and professionalism is top notch and very much appreciated! Our family had a great trip because of you! Til next time!

Dad had a reservation for the car and paid for it over a month in advance... nd isba avis preferred member.
we're told our car was in a spot... walked out. Nothing was there. Went back in and was told that someone was going to bringing us the car. An hour and a half later They bring us the car... I would never recommend them to anyone. Nor will I personally never rent a car from them after this experience.

I just want to know if anyone else who rented a car from here received they’re deposit back???? I was told 2-3 days ask me if I have received it!!

I booked online and when I arrived they didn’t have the car I rented they provided me a different one and said it would be $30 okay fine and I agreed. But I find this place so shady! They car was supposedly sanitized when I took the car there was sugar packets everywhere the glasses holder compartment was broken etc..

Yet again where is my deposit of $250 Avis????
It’s a deposit shouldn’t I get that back??
