Budget Car Rental

1-Made a reservation 3 weeks before pick up. Did not have the truck ready for the pick up time. Finally received a phone call to go pick up 30mins north at from my house. Made me rush before they closed at 1:00pm. They were 3 hours behind. Not to mention I had friends and family coming over to help me move.

2- They didn’t have the right truck. I ordered at 14’ and they ended up giving me a 40 foot. This thing was massive. I had zero experience driving something like this. Also, they didn’t have a dollys or blankets from the order. Things were getting ugly. I took the truck because we were desperate.

3- The flat bed on the truck broke! (Get the insurance). I waited 3 hours for someone to come pick this up. Sure, it wasn’t Budgets fault but the wait the insane, specially when we’re on a time frame. This made us miss our hotel reservations. Now we were 6 hours behind schedule. This truck required Diesel and DEF. This trip became more expensive than expected.

4- Our reservation was $1740. They only returned $90. That’s roughly 5% back for all this madness.

I rented a vehicle for a day from here. I pretty much had no complaints. The check back in part can be a little faster but I recommend here and the nice prices. Good franchisee/ownee, good business. They may not always answer the phone btw but they're there

Good customer service provided by Alex when we rented a12 foot truck for a one way rental. We closed it for the unlimited miles.. Truck was clean but the back was high not low like some U-Hauls. Truck didn't have a ramp to make loading it easier.

Well, i wanted to wait untill the drop off to see how the whole thing went and in one word....FANTASTIC. Everything from beginning to end went smoothly with the most helpfull and polite people you could ask for, like Michael at the pick up and Danielle at the drop off. I just can't believe some of the negative reviews, it just goes to show,
"You just cant make some people happy". I have been renting for the better part of 40 years and this was one of the best. Thank you Budget.

I was very pleased with my service in renting my cars. Our representatives went above and beyond to research the availability of the cars that were needed and didn’t stop communication until all was handled.

I would recommend Avis to all of my peers. And I will definitely continue to use Avis for all of my rental needs.

The customer service rep. blatantly added insurance after I clearly declined it. When I returned the car and called back to question a charge on my receipt. Was told it was insurance 🙄. I asked for a refund and was told by I assumed the manager nothing he can do at this point👎! I called the 800# the Cs rep. refunded me. Budget Great 👍 the Margate Fl. location check your receipt completely! Better not be in a hurry🙂🤣🙂

One thing I like about renting cars is quick in and out service. Thia is a smaller facility but service was fast. Alex was very helpful and provide GREAT Customer Service. I'll definitely frequent here and recommend.

I never leave reviews to condemn people or companies but the manager Alex and the other staff were absolutely useless and disrespectful in their attempts to be an assistance. On my last day of having the rental car, my AirPods fell through the center console because there was a missing piece that was suppose to be closed off. I was told to that there was nothing that they could do while they watched me attempt to retrieve the item. While I was leaving the lot, they immediately jumped in the car and drove it around back. I’ve been playing phone tag with the Margate location, the airport, and corporate. It’s been a week with no answers or any type of resolution. I travel to south Florida at least four times a year and I rent a vehicle every time I visit. I will no longer give Budget my business and will gladly rent from their competitor.
