I had a different experience exchanging a broken rental with this office. I rented a car from FLL and drove it over to Marco Island, but after reaching my destination a wheel bearing went bad. After seeing the prior review I expected an easy exchange. Apparently I got the weekend guy that did not want to work that day. After mumbling to himself he said the best he could do was give me a "dirty" car which I could take back to the airport and exchange for another one. I said the airport is too far away. He then said I could have the car towed and be left carless. Finally after complaining that was not an option he said come back in three hours and he would have a clean car. I arrived back in three hours and he gave me the keys to a replacement. I went to the parking lot and found the car. It was covered in mud and bugs and only had half a tank of gas. I then discovered he charged me $40 for the exchange. Nice guy.

We needed to exchange a Hertz rental vehicle with an oil leak. This Hertz location was super helpful in getting us into a replacement. Very professional and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes.

We have rent from them many times, but all the times that guy it's gone and we are wainting for him. Today we was waiting 20 minutes for him. This is unacceptable, all the time he is gone, and me and other people are waiting for him. Somebody should tell them that their attitude should be changed as well! If somebody want to rent a car in Marco Island I would strongly recomend them Enterprise (Bald Eagle).

I would say "Not Exactly"....... booked early in the morning before 8am called as well so we could leave around 1pm with no headaches. Been a Gold member for ever..... So we go down to the Hertz counter......waiting 30-50 minutes later after the lady walked 2 other customers out to their cars (time to get a new system SAS otherwise) so back to the fun Mid size car is what I reserved.....NOT EXACTLY. Toyota Yaris with a baby seat in the back had to be the smallest car I have ever been in. Yes, I was glad to have a car.....but probably wont use Hertz again and worse I will probably tell a bunch of people. We were at the JW Marriott. I would never let Marriott treat me so poorly. It is a rental car.

Excellent service when we needed to extend the rental agreement. The Hertz extend rental number goes to an outsourced call center in another county. They changed (almost doubled) my contracted weekly rental agreement, and quoted me $130 additional to extend one day past my weekly rate. I kept insisting I have a rental agreement with a agreed upon weekly rate and one day extra rate. After multiple calls, I drove to the Hertz location in the JW Marriott and Mark did an excellent job helping me extend the rental at the contracted weekly and extra day rate. Thank you, Mark!

We are on vacation from the UK and Just wanted to say a sincere and massive thank you to Mark at the hertz desk @JW Marriott, he was excellent every step of the way and helped make our sons dreams come true by getting us into his favorite USA sports car.

Hertz is falling apart and customer service gets an F minus. Got the whole rental mixed up then tried to blame it on me the customer and charge more. Someone needs to reorganize this company and use more American staffing on the help line. I had to literally spell my email address to them 4 x before they understood and still got it wrong. Very frustrating as a customer. Going back to Enterprise with my business.
