Nice place to camp. The only problem is the grass is overgrown which makes for a ton of bugs. Nice burn ring and bbq grills, benches and close bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean, showers are really nice. The area overall is nice. The price is a bit high, but if you have disability the price is reduced. I don't have a bike, but there are a lot of biking trails. Lots of wildlife as well. It's been very nice here and no problems.

It's nice, close to river store and it is clean. Bath houses are very nice and well maintained. Only draw back is sites do not have shade.

Good campground. Restrooms/showers were clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful at night. Nearby park store has ice, firewood, and many other items. Heads up: Google street view images are out of date and inaccurate. Reservation website is much closer to reality. I've included a pic of the campground map provided to me by park staff upon entry. It is accurate and up to date. Spaces can be a little close together but we had great neighbors so it wasn't an issue. Camp host on site. Overall a good value. Looking forward to my next visit.

A group of locals went to relax in nature. We had an excellent experience. We could have done without the no-see-ums but they ARE nature so....

Huge park, driving down to the River Campground is 3 miles or so, so it is quiet there. The campground was almost empty when we stayed there in June. Large sites that are fairly far away from each other, plenty of space. The trails and infrastructure (river swimming area, playground, etc.) are nice, too.

Wonderful park in about one hour drive north from Fort Lauderdale. Lots of trails. Bring your bike. River campground seems to be a better choice and it has boat rentals and river tours. Don't miss the observation tower. It's worth staying there for a few days. We'll come back.

Nice facility, were enjoying ourselves for 2 days, then rain all day and boy Scouts all night making noise. Surrounded by a troop, and no consideration for others. Should have been in a group campsite. No real supervision or oversight from scout leaders or state employees, thus the 2 stars.
