Mid March is a little bit of paradise at Santos Trailhead - we came for the Fat Tire Festival and camped 2 nights and rode all the crazy expensive bike frames.

No bugs, careful with ground fires and the other campers are really friendly.

I love hammock camping; here’s a picture of my rig.

Easy set-up, easy breakdown.

We’ll be back next year.

This is my all time favorite campground. Surrounded by 75 miles of mountain bike trails, also a 26 mile round trip paved greenway - all right from your campsite! I’ve been coming to santos to ride for over 25 years! I love that santos campground is small and the employees are super personable. Close to Historic downtown Ocala for restaurants, only 20 mins from Kayaking Silver Springs!

A lot of bike trails. Safe, things for children to do. Sections are open to non campers. Overall it's pleasant, clean and has public restrooms.

Great campground very well maintained, bathrooms not new but very clean. Hiking and biking trails are among the bests in FL. Love this place and will definitely revisit it again and again 😄.

This camp ground is absolutely gorgeous, booking it was a nightmare but once we got it here we were extremely happy. The restrooms/ showers are clean, there is a dish washing station as well. My wife and I came here with some friends and it was so peaceful.

Beautiful, tranquil place to ride your bike or walk. There's a campground. Goes for miles and miles. There's a bicycle shop at the entrance across from the trail for your cycle needs or rental

Very quiet and peaceful park. We were there for MTN biking and we were not disappointed! Didn't have time to ride everything. We'll be back for more ☺️ some of the sites are a little shallow for longer TT or they with fire pit behind, so be careful which site you reserve.

I love Santos. There is something for everyone here. We rode the paved trail past the landbridge to access some of the off road trails beyond. Then we rode back and did off road trails near the trailhead. The trails past the land bridge were flowy, fun blues. The blues closer to the trailhead were rocky and technical. The scenery is beautiful. Some of the trails go both ways though, that seems weird to me but it wasn't so crowded that it was a problem.
