If you are looking for a nice RV camp site in the middle of Austin with close access to all the downtown stuff this is the place for you! These guys were awesome! It was a little tight but with a little help guiding me in we were all good! We were able to get on our e scooters and went up and down the river and all over downtown! The trees are big and had plenty of shade for our RV. Thanks for the great place to stay!! They are cash only but that was fine for us.

Nice and quiet still running after the hurricane the staff has done a great job of cleaning up what they were able to. Staff at the office have been very helpful with me and my questions which at the time were really not important before and right after a hurricane. I have to give them a thumbs up. I think I am known for my heavy packages 📦

What has happened to this place!?!? After moving four different times because of an issue at every site. This is the electrical box that was at my site! I had to be moved for a fifth time only to find out that that electrical box was burnt out and had to wait for it to be repaired! I don’t think they own a lawnmower at this campground… the grass was ridiculously high! No soap in the bathrooms! I will never spend $80 a night for this campground again! STAY AWAY!!!

Great service! Nice and clean place to stay. All you need you will find here: playground, swimming pool, golf course. The house is equipped with everything, from iron to table games and swimming accessories. There is a security check at the entrance for your safety.

ZERO STARS. Have to give one star to write this review. Sherwood Forest RV Resort and Cottages is poorly run. Long time residents and yearly snow-birders rent property on a monthly basis year after year and the park fails to properly maintain amenities popular to out of country guests. We are unable access to laundry & bathroom amenities outside of the hours of 9am and 8pm, while having fob access during these hours. Normally, fob access is to allow users to come and go based on their needs. Forget using these facilities if you are an early riser, or night owl. Sherwood Forest RV Resort fails to upkeep their spa & pool areas, or allow access to them during what they call "current or impending weather conditions". As a  citizen north of the American border, it is quite normal to soak in a hot tub with outside temperatures lower than 37°F. Furthermore, spa & pool areas have been completely failed of maintenence for over two years. During our stay we only had access to one spa tub while the other available tub was left taped off due to incomplete construction. They claim to provide a working gym to visitors, however only provides these facilities to RV renters or manufactured home, not to cottages visitors. We are long time visitors of Sherwood Forest RV Resort, over 20 years, and the services and amenities become less accessible and out of service. Complete disappointment visiting this year.

It's an ok rv park, but we were way in the back, had no picnic table and there were no concrete slabs. Just dirt...made for a messy stay. Loud music at night too...not very peaceful.

Spaces are tight which makes me feel less comfortable and home-like. A wide variety of living/life experiences happen here, something for everyone.

We were put by a smoker and my husband has an allergy to it and being parked so close together meant we suffered with it.

Next time we will ask about a non-smoking section.

The sound of helicopters going over every ten minutes giving scenic tours is annoying. And the sites aren't anything to write home about. But it's not bad if you're just passing through..
