My BMW was taken here after an accident that required major work. They work directly with the dealership closest to me, and I didn't really have any other options as to where it was taken. I've had work done by a third-party collision center that worked with Baron BMW in Kansas City, and I had an incredibly positive experience, so I assumed most BMW dealerships were the same. Wish I were right about that.

My car was in the shop for about a month, and I was ok with the length of time that it was gone. There was quite a bit of damage, so I knew it would be gone awhile, but there was very little communication with me from the beginning. I began receiving (automated) emails about two weeks before it was ready, so that was progress. They were always available when I called and did begin to call more frequently right before it was finished, so I appreciate that effort eventually.

The problems started when I went to pick up my car. They, I had assumed, towed it back to my dealership, about 10 miles from where AutoNation is located. When I picked it up, everything seemed to be in order, but as soon as I turned the car on, I saw that my gas tank was completely empty. My driving range was 2 miles, which quickly dropped to 0 miles about 15 seconds into trying to drive off the lot, and I had to pull into a parking spot on the other side of my dealership because I knew I wouldn't make it to a gas station. I let them know, and they were able to find a gas can from the dealership and filled up my tank for me. Not the most ideal fix to a situation that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place, but at least they jumped on it and did something about it.

It wasn't until I got my car home that I realized they hadn't even finished the job. There were two lug nuts missing on the wheel they were primarily (if not only) working on, as well as the decorative BMW wheel cap. Not only were the lug nuts missing, but they had even made a note that they were missing ON THE WHEEL. I'm assuming that was a note for the repairmen in the shop, but now I'm wondering if it was just a warning for me and I was expected to fix it myself.

I have no idea who was responsible for making sure my car was really ready to go, but they clearly were not paying attention. I will never have my car taken here again. This is just one issue that I can see, I only hope that the rest of my car is safe to drive and I don't experience any other issues in the future due to this repair. I would have let them keep my car for another month if it meant that they had paid closer attention before sending it back to me.

Never take your car there if you are going through Insurance Company (Especially State Farm). They work together! This was marked as extensive hail damage for hood and roof. After taking these pictures I was told to come back when sun is at peak and then I'll be able to see the damage better.

Every single person that worked there was so friendly. From the moment I stepped inside I felt I was taken care of and that I had nothing to worry about. My car was ready a week early and in absolute pristine condition - they even washed it for me. They kept in constant contact keeping me updated on what was going on which I really appreciated. The parts they used came straight from Toyota so that was also affirming. I have some cosmetic damage I plan on coming back to AutoNation to fix thanks to their incredible job this time. Highly highly recommend.

We used their collision center to repair our tailgate. Initially when we picked it up after a few days we noticed that the colors were a bit off. They took it back in and it looks like it did he day we purchased the vehicle. The Service Manager Dan kept us informed every step of the way. Great service! Happy Customers!!

If you stumble upon this review please read carefully as there are better competitors such as Xtreme Collision Repair that can provide you valuable fair priced services. I waited almost 20 minutes just to get an estimate on my car. The car was not badly damaged and I was approximating about $1000 for repairs. The representative after looking at the car and taking pictures and doing a write up told me that repairs would be almost $5000! Very laughable situation, to know I would be spending that much money on minor repairs. Please shop around, it doesn't take time and will save you money in the long run. I went to Xtreme Collision Repair afterwards and got another estimate which was not even priced up to $1000. If I didn't do due diligence and decided to go with this company, I would have been ripped off, big time. There are other notable collision centers out there and I would only consider this place as a last resort. If you do make sure you go in educated or with formidable insurance to cover their exuberant prices. The experience for me was wasted time and overall annoyance

Dan provided an outstanding service to get my car fixed. He kept me informed throughout the process and gave me accurate ETAs on repair work. At the end he delivered the car in shiny new condition on the committed date. I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by Autonation Collision Center in Addison.

Justin and the crew at AutoNation Addison are outstanding, professional, hardworking, honest and talented!!! My ‘19 Toyota Camry looks brand new. Justin was communicative and got the job done. What was unfortunate damage to my car by another, turned out to be a pleasant experience and outcome with this crew! Thanks a million!

I bought my car there immediately after I was involved in an accident and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service that I received. My car ended up being a total loss, but for the time that it was there, I received a few phone calls with the status of how things were going along and if I ever needed to use the services of a collision center again, they will be my first choice (SUPER NICE guys).
Recommended locations
