The Mucky Duck Bar

I usually come here just for a beer or two. It’s a nice spot to just hang out with friends and they do have live music sometimes. I went on a Saturday night around 9ish, there was 2 ladies working at the time, it wasn’t super busy but it was busy enough for them. Those ladies killed it, they were hitting every table and were very attentive. I ordered Queso, wings and a pretzel, food was good! I also ordered a green tea shot and I had 2 beers. I’m going to keep coming here.

Went there for food, ordered a chicken sandwich took a bite there was no flavor other than over used oil. Looked at it the sandwich was about 5 shades too dark completely dry and absolutely disrespectful to serve to a paying customer. The waitress seen I took two bites of the sandwich asked if I wanted a box I said no and she walked away quick and brought back my check even though it was clear I was unhappy about the sandwich.

This place is a solid lunch stop. The food is traditional bar food, but it is so good. The staff is always nice as well. The kitchen can be a little slow, but hey, it's a bar. The drink selection is about on par with a smaller bar with a nice variety of beers and liquors available.

We went in the afternoon for happy hour but the happy hour only really applies if you are going for beer ($4 draft). We order margaritas and they tasted pretty off, quite salty actually and not very much lime. We when went to pay we were charged $13 per drink, which we thought was crazy but we paid our tab of course. The ambiance is okay and our server was fine but I don’t think it’s for us :/

Currently sitting here watching football and I have not been approached by the bartender/sever about ordering drinks and food. I’ve been a patron for 13 years and this by far the lowest quality of service I have experienced. There needs to be a re-education of the wait staff on how to manage the restaurant floor.

A surprisingly good experience. We were recommended this place over ‘lion and the crown’ by friends in the area and enjoyed our food and the overall bar atmosphere. The bar was attentive and playing solid music at a tolerably loud volume. It’s lit like most bars and is clean on tables and floors. The service is fast and consistent. The food was surprisingly thoughtful and generous. I recommend the fries and burger.

Second time coming here and have ordered food both times. I thought the food was just really good the first time because I had a few drinks. Went back again and had the food early on and it was just as good - best bar food around. Great selection of beers and the bartenders are always very friendly and quick. Classic pub atmosphere with good music that is loud enough to hear but quiet enough you can comfortably hold a conversion. Great place to get a drink and /or food.

This was our first time here and I want to like this local pub but I’m a little annoyed that their menu online does not reflect their current food options. We ordered a pretzel and a couple of pub clubs. When you think club it’s some version of deli meats or carved meat in either single or double decker style on white/wheat bread, right? No this was a warm sandwich on a pretzel roll. When we called she said oh our website has been unable to be updated for over a year and umm we changed our menu a month ago. This was perplexing because when my husband went in to order the person never mentioned hey our menu has changed. The sandwich was ok and the pesto aioli saved the sandwich. I don’t think we’ll be returning until their menu can accurately reflect what they have on hand.
