Lefty's Lobster and Chowder House

this place is wonderful!!! the lighting is very dim and red but I thought it made for a very cool ambiance especially for dinner time, and I didn't have a problem seeing. I sadly didn't catch our waiter's name, but he was very personable and funny. I had asked him to recomment me a fruity cocktail and it did not disappoint, it was delicious! There were also other employees who would check in on us which was very nice too. I got the scallop special which was delicious, and the potatoes caught me by surprise because they were SO good. I have never felt so strongly towards mashed potatoes hahah. My boyfriend got the mahi special which was amazing and we shared a crab cake appetizer which was also very good. It was hard to pick favorites. We were originally not going to get dessert, but then the owner came over and said he'd take care of it since we got "the worst seat in the house," (a lot of people stoof by us since it was by the entrance) but we honestly did not mind at all. We were too busy with the wonderful food to care. We did take the owner up on his kindness though and tried out the creme brulee, and it was wonderful!! I didn't think we had much room to finish dessert but it was so good we left the plate pretty clean. Overall a great experience, I look forward to the next time we get to come back! First time at this location. Great food and service! The lobster bisque was outstanding! We had the sweet lobster and sea bass. Wow! Best we had, better than papedudix! Did not disappoint! We will be back for more to try on the menu.

I went in for a take out order and was very impressed with the lay out. It reminds me of a New England dive and the crab cakes are FANTASTIC!!!!

This is a great hole in the wall. The home made lobster bisque is great. The daily lunch and dinner specials are wonderful. Everything is great quality and cooked perfectly. The lobster bisque is amazing.

Great restaurant! Love the environs, professional staff, not a lackluster item on our table. Impressed with the freshness and the sauces/seasonings.

We got take out for our anniversary and were so impressed! Steak, whole lobster, and scallops made it home and tasted amazing. Honestly some of the best scallops I've ever had (and I loooove scallops). Everything was perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself was so cute and we definitely want to eat in sometime. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Lobster Bisque with Maine Lobster and I forgot to take a picture. Around the table, we ordered a variation of food and it was all excellent. Definitely a place to go to for seafood.

If u looking for lobster in this town you should come here!!! Fresh and all tasty.I love seafood so much and this is will be my fav place for sure!! Ohhh cocktail here is fabulous too.
