Chez Francois Restaurant and patio

For breakfast you won't be disappointed. I had the two egg breakfast; GF had the omelet with brie and asparagus. We also ordered the pancakes (2) side. Very enjoyable meal. Serving staff was pleasant and efficient. Oh and the coffee was pretty good.

Very nice place to grab a bite friendly staff, food was great only note would be to caramelize the onions just a bit more for the bison burger. Otherwise it’s pretty fantastic smoothies are good too. They also have a large and small takeout container so that’s awesome.

One of the best brunch spots in Canada. The quality of eggs, bread, meats and fruits is top notch.

I highly suggest the mountaineer if you are coming in hungry. It is equivalent to a brunch even if you eat it at 8am. The bacon & sausages were excellent and well-cooked. The eggs were over hard and so flavourful. The rye toast was an icing on the meal.

The servers are courteous and friendly. In fact I mentioned to him that we were in a hurry, he ensured to bring the food in less than 10 minutes.

Overall, fantastic experience and I highly suggest it to all visitors and residents of Canmore!

We came here on Canada day morning. The patio was almost full, while the restaurant was half full, but very warm inside.
We order egg Benedicts and the Surprise French toasts.
Egg bene was good. Perfectly cooked with well balanced hollandaise sauce.
Surprise French toasts come with scrambled eggs and ham in between. Personally not big fan of sweet maple syrup mixed with salty ham and scramble eggs.

It’s a very busy place. We went there for breakfast and waited in the line for 10-15 minutes. The servers are nice. I ordered the American breakfast. It includes pancakes and toasts. But when it came I realized it would have been better if I just ordered a pancake dish or a toast separately. The food tastes good however. The serving wait time was long too. And I asked for more turkey sausages instead of bacon.

The food was great. This was the only best breakfast we had in our 5 days tour in Banff Jasper. Every item on the menu was perfect. Tried Egg Benedict for the first time and they made it so good that I would wanna try only that next time. The potatoes were done differently that's also adds additional flavour to their specials. Excelent breakfast in Canmore. It's good food with an amazing view. A great start to exploring the area.
Our service was attentive and very friendly, we enjoyed our waitress.
The only reason I cut 1 star was the salt was a bit heavy handed.

Great spot for a hearty breakfast, from healthy options to carb loading, they got it all . Loved the egg Benny's, also great service and absolutely gorgeous views from both inside and the patio . Must do on your visit to Canmore !
